Prime-Video - Medellin : Discover the official poster and a new teaser

By Mulder, 11 may 2023

"First of all, I'm quite fascinated by this country and by this culture and, to be honest, I've also seen a lot of films and documentaries around Escobar and Narcos - and even though I have no admiration for them, I have a certain fascination for their story. So I asked myself what would happen if a young man, who has an older brother, was kidnapped by Narcos: would the older brother remain passive or would he decide to go and get him? In which case, what would happen? It is unfortunately quite common for kidnappings to happen in Colombia, but it is less common for the person who is kidnapped to be the little brother of a determined guy! That was the starting point for what I thought could be a pretty strong adventure comedy." - Franck Gastambide

Synopsis:
Pablito is a young Youtuber, fascinated by Pablo Escobar. He decides to make his dream come true by going to Medellin to follow in the footsteps of the drug lord. A few days later, a video posted on his social networks, the world discovers that Pablito is in the hands of dangerous narcos, who demand a huge ransom to free him. "Plata o Plomo! " . But what the Narcos don't know is that Pablito has an older brother and that this older brother has a plan that is as simple as it is totally insane: to put together a team, to raid Colombia to confront the cartel's men and to bring back his little brother safe and sound.
