Hasbro - BEYBLADE X Ignites 2025 with Global Championship, Cutting-Edge Tops, and a New Era of Competitive Play

By Mulder, 25 march 2025

BEYBLADE fans around the globe, get ready to let it rip like never before. In a massive celebration of BEYBLADE Day 2025, ADK Emotions NY Inc. and T-Licensing Inc. have announced the launch of the 2025 BEYBLADE X World Championship, a truly international competition that will unite the global BEYBLADE community for an adrenaline-fueled year of battles. Beginning in April, regional tournaments will take place across numerous countries — including the United States, Canada, France, Taiwan, and Brazil — all leading up to a spectacular two-day final event at Tokyo Tower in Japan on October 11 and 12, 2025.

The championship will feature two distinct divisions tailored for different age groups: the Regular Class, primarily for ages 8 to 12 (with some flexibility in certain regions for ages as young as 6), and the Open Class, for those aged 13 and up (starting at 7 in Japan and select parts of Asia). This structure not only makes the competition accessible but also honors the legacy of BEYBLADE as a game that transcends age, geography, and language. More detailed information regarding regional qualifiers, rules, and registration is expected to be released over the coming months, but the core message is clear — the path to becoming the world’s top Blader has officially begun.

To add fuel to the fire, Hasbro is launching an electrifying lineup of new BEYBLADE X products, headlined by the debut of the first-ever CX-line Tops. Available now for pre-order on Amazon, these new models are designed for precision, power, and performance. Among the standout releases are: Courage Dran S 6-60V CX Starter Pack Set, Reaper Incendio T 4-70K CX Starter Pack Set, Arc Wizard R 4-55LO CX Starter Pack Set and Dark Perseus B 6-80W CX Starter Pack Set

These tops are engineered with the CX (Clash Xtreme) system, offering upgraded designs and capabilities that elevate the BEYBLADE experience for seasoned veterans and newcomers alike. They’re joined by the BX10 Tournament Stadium, an official TakaraTomy battle arena featuring the dynamic X-Celerator Gear System, which enables Tops to dash at high speed and crash into their opponents with dramatic flair. It’s a setup aimed at competitive players who want the most authentic and intense experience outside of an official tournament.

Hasbro has also revealed two major additions to their stadium lineup: the BEYBLADE X Clash and Carry Beystadium Battle Arena and the forthcoming Drop Attack Battle Set. The Clash and Carry set introduces portability to the BEYBLADE scene, allowing Bladers to fold and store the arena with ease, and take it anywhere for spontaneous battles. Meanwhile, the Drop Attack Battle Set is set to hit stores this fall and introduces a raised X-Celerator Rail that allows Tops to launch from a higher elevation, triggering mid-air strikes and surprise take-downs that promise to revolutionize the way players strategize their matches.

Digital competition is also heating up with the Digital BEYBLADE X Championship, now live on the BEYBLADE X app hosted by Amazon. Over the course of four weeks, players can battle for victory and earn in-app rewards — and best of all, no physical BEYBLADE is required to participate. However, scanning your Tops into the app can boost your performance and unlock special perks. The app is freely available for download on both Android and iOS, making it a perfect entry point for new players or a companion for veterans looking to train and connect online.

“We are incredibly grateful for our BEYBLADE fans around the world, and we cannot wait to introduce the 2025 BEYBLADE World Championship in their honor,” said a spokesperson from ADK Emotions NY. “This global event is designed to bring Bey-fans together, celebrating the passion, skill, and dedication that unite Bladers everywhere. Get ready… 3-2-1, let it rip!”

As BEYBLADE X continues to expand its universe, the franchise is also strengthening its presence in media. Episodes of BEYBLADE X currently air on Disney XD every Saturday, and are available for streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers, ensuring fans can stay connected to the storylines and characters that inspire the battles they bring to life in the real world.

For those who want to stay on top of the latest updates, product launches, tournament news, and exclusive content, the official website at beyblade.com and social media accounts — including @officialbeyblade on Instagram, @beyblade_official on TikTok, @x_beyblade on X, and the official BEYBLADE YouTube channel — are the go-to destinations.

In a world where digital innovation meets nostalgic energy, and where competitive play is more vibrant than ever, 2025 is shaping up to be the biggest year yet in BEYBLADE history. Whether you're an experienced Blader ready for Tokyo or a new fan looking to enter your first match, the launch of this global championship and the new wave of products make it the perfect time to spin into action.
