NYCC 2026 : DC Panels, Exclusives and Creator Signings
NYCC 2026 : DC Expands Its Lineup with Batman, Exclusives and Cosplay
Thursday 17 September, 9:11 AM PT
DC at NYCC 2026 brings comics and fan experiences together
DC is expanding its New York Comic Con presence with a larger multilevel booth, a dedicated 360° cosplay installation and a programme spanning publishing announcements, creator signings and convention merchandise. The September 17 announcement spotlights Absolute Universe, Vertigo, Black Label and Next Level. The official NYCC website confirms the October 8–11 dates at the Javits Center, where the convention is marking its 20th anniversary.
Booth #4365 will anchor DC’s activities, with the cosplay installation next door at #4657. Digital queueing will cover selected DC Shop activities and booth signings, with eligibility and participation details still to come through DC’s official channels.

A 1950s newsstand turns DC history into a souvenir
The booth’s historical theme focuses on the 1950s. Its Daily Planet newsstand will distribute a free MAD Magazine #1 facsimile incorporating vintage advertisements drawn from DC’s archives, previews of forthcoming titles and convention information. A blank Daily Planet back cover provides space for creator signatures, giving this nostalgic giveaway a practical second purpose during the weekend.
A Fortress of Solitude-inspired photo backdrop featuring Superman and Krypto extends the Superman experience from Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood to the convention floor.
Absolute Universe, Vertigo and Next Level lead the panels
Thursday’s Vertigo + Black Label panel, moderated by executive editor Chris Conroy, will explore stories across horror, crime, fantasy and science fiction. Friday’s Absolute Universe session pairs Chris Conroy with group editor Katie Kubert for announcements and creative insights. Saturday’s Next Level & Beyond panel, hosted by editor-in-chief Marie Javins, will examine the initiative’s expanding titles and forthcoming developments.
Saturday also brings Jim Lee & Friends, with DC’s president, publisher and chief creative officer hosting special guests, conversations and reveals. Sunday shifts to Teen Titans: Together, with Kami Garcia and Gabriel Picolo discussing the conclusion of their graphic novel series, sharing creative stories and looking ahead to Young Justice. The panel closes their Teen Titans: Together tour.

Batman of Two Worlds headlines limited creator signings
Saturday’s 10 a.m. Batman of Two Worlds signing brings together Scott Snyder, Nick Dragotta, Matt Fraction, Javi Fernández and Frank Martin. DC’s official website promotes the comic’s September 19 Batman Day release, placing this gathering just weeks after the book reaches readers.
DC says booth signings are free to NYCC attendees, limited to 100 participants each and managed through its new digital queue. All remain subject to change and final confirmation. Attendees should check the forthcoming queue instructions before planning their visits.
Exclusive comics, collectibles and a Mattel reveal
DC Shop’s limited foil editions include Absolute Batman #1, Absolute Wonder Woman #1 and Absolute Superman #1 with new artwork by Bill Sienkiewicz. Additional covers include Absolute Catwoman #1 by Ben Oliver, Absolute Green Arrow #1 by Jeff Spokes, Lanterns #1 Special Edition by Ryan Benjamin, Batman #1 by Mahmud Asrar and Lobo #1 by Dan Panosian. Frank Miller supplies the listed cover for Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #1 Facsimile.
Hardcover exclusives extend the collectible approach through connecting dust jackets by Mark Spears for the first Absolute Batman, Absolute Superman and Absolute Wonder Woman volumes. A DC K.O. edition features a jacket by Javi Fernández. Shoe Palace, Upper Deck and DC will also offer separate Absolute Batman and Absolute Wonder Woman bundles containing a comic, a 5-by-7-inch card, a character T-shirt and pins, with artwork by Nick Dragotta and Hayden Sherman, respectively.
Mattel’s first DC Collector item is scheduled for unveiling at noon on Thursday, with preorders opening immediately afterwards at MattelCreations.com; the announcement gives January 1, 2027 as the line’s global launch date. LEGO will present an adult-oriented Batman villain model and three vehicles, including a villain vehicle, without identifying them in the supplied release. DC Shop also plans Lanterns replica rings, illuminated power-battery keychains and early Clayface merchandise, including an in-universe band-tour T-shirt. Limited stock applies.

Gaming rewards, digital comics and cosplay activities
DC Universe Online will promote Children of Krypton: Wrath of the Worldkillers, announced for October 6. Booth posters featuring artwork by Belén Ortega will contain a code for a free Kryptonian in-game reward. The convention’s $100 DC Universe Infinite ULTRA bundle includes one year of membership, an Absolute Martian Manhunter #1 glow-in-the-dark variant by Frank Cho, pins and Runway to Ruin accessories. Regional subscription restrictions apply.
The DC Community team will meet fans daily from 1–2 p.m., with giveaways for visitors demonstrating official Discord membership, while supplies last. Members who have unlocked the Teen Titans ARG can receive an exclusive patch. Friday’s official cosplay meetup, organised with DC Cosplayers East, adds group photography, short video shoots and giveaways; the nearby Runway to Ruin-themed 360° installation provides another setting for costume portraits.
