PAW Patrol returns to the cinema in a new adventure that will delight little ones aged 4 to 8 years old. They will find Ryder, a little 10-year-old boy, with his Paw Patrol, made up of 7 puppies, each of whom has their own specificity, their color, their rescue vehicle and their catchphrases : “Chase is on the case”, “Rubble put on the double"...
The film plays with talent with superheroes world and question it. Thanks to a meteorite, the puppies acquire powers and become the Super Patrol. Everyone discovers their power little by little. For Liberty, it will take longer. Everyone has their own rhythm. Their super costumes and super vehicles will delight the little ones again. But is it this power that counts or solidarity? The film highlights the values of friendship, courage and solidarity, animated tv series' founding values. Mutual aid comes first. It is this functioning as a troop, this cooperation which allows them to save others and the city. In these troubled times, this reminder of the fundamentals can be useful.
The first film focused on puppy Chase, who had to overcome his fears and return to the town that traumatized him as a child. Here, the story centers around Skye, the cocker, who will discover that no matter your size, there are no paws too small. Willpower and self-confidence are essential. New characters appear with the Junior Patrol, Tot, Nano and Mini, three little balls of fur, so cute and very funny, who dream of joining the Paw Patrol. Liberty, the dachshund, will have to learn to take care of these little ones, while the others go on a mission. Certainly, this mission could have been assigned to a male puppy and not a female one to avoid this stereotype.
The villain of this adventure is Victoria Vance, a scientist passionate about meteors, an eccentric character, whom the others treat as a weirdo. We find this theme that technology, here the super power, is not bad in itself, it is the use we make of it that counts. In the paws of puppies, powers are used to save. In the hands of Victoria or the city mayor, they become tools of destruction.
The film is designed for younger children, unlike some cartoons, which try to please parents as well. The pace of the editing is suitable for little ones. The film lasts 1h30. Let's hope that the theaters will ensure the appropriate sound level.
This new PAW Patrol adventure at the cinema is good. Prepare the Pom'Potes and the budget for the toys before the release.

Sabine's Mark:
The PAW Patrol returns in force and becomes the 'Super Patrol' following the crash of a magical meteorite caused by a crazy scientist, Victoria Vance! Just that ! And yes, one of the most famous cartoons returns in the form of an animated film, to the delight of little ones! The story, very simple, shows again and again the clan of dogs defending the oppressed. The myth of the superhero is very present. Each of the animals with their basic powers sees them double in power, except for Liberty, who, ultimately, is searching for herself internally and who has not yet found her way.
The animated film, which is mainly aimed at young people, advocates strong values such as self-confidence, 'the last will be first' but above all evokes the power of friendship! Indeed, in this opus, it is Stella, a young dog, who is the star. We learn more about her story as a lost dog, thinking she is invisible to everyone: she is especially very self-conscious about her small size and her young age. She feels apart, misunderstood, and this is what will push her to prove to the other members of the PAW Patrol and to Ryder, a little boy (leader of the clan), that she is capable of getting by (again) all alone although she is afraid of facing the enemy alone.
The music in the film is catchy or, conversely, immerses us in the immense sadness of the characters. The latter are an unrivaled asset for making the animated film attractive and rhythmic. Special mention to Sofia Essaidi, who lends her voice to the troupe's sworn enemy, Victoria Vance. Real work has been done and a search for eccentric intonation which makes the villain even more sadistic and satirical as desired.
Super Paw Patrol is a great success for children: breathtaking animated images, strong values promoting difference and friendship where unity is strength! Self-improvement is in the spotlight, proving that each person is unique and that everything is possible from the moment we accept their faults and their qualities. Only those around us make us stronger and more valiant. If you want to dream of being a superhero or heroine for 1h30, show your white paw badge and get ready to bark with your little ones for 1h30!
