Convention - Wondercon 2023 : Recap of our first day

By Jeremy Wilson, Anaheim, Convention center, 24 march 2023

This year to cover Wondercon our media is lucky to have three photographers and editors on site. Our official Los Angeles photographer Jeremy Wilson is joined by two cosplay, film and convention enthusiasts Erika Creveling and Kaitlyn Geiman Brumbaugh.

The first day of Wondercon 2023 was a good way to circulate within the Anaheim convention center, to meet cosplayers but also to see different panels and to meet in the press room the next Warner Bros Animation movie Batman the doom that came to Gotham.

We suggest you to discover our pictures on our Flickr page : Cosplays (https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAxeby), our selection of photos from the Wondercon booths ( https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAx89g) as well as photos from the convention center (https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAx9A3)

WonderCon is an annual comic book, science fiction, and pop culture convention that takes place in the United States. It was started in 1987 in Oakland, California, and is currently held in Anaheim, California. The event is organized by the same company that produces San Diego Comic-Con, and it typically attracts tens of thousands of attendees over the course of a weekend.

At WonderCon, attendees can expect to see a variety of events, including panels and presentations from comic book creators, authors, and actors; screenings of upcoming movies and television shows; and a large exhibition hall featuring vendors selling comics, collectibles, and other merchandise. WonderCon also features cosplay contests, where attendees dress up as their favorite characters from popular media. Overall, WonderCon is a fun and exciting event for fans of comic books, science fiction, and pop culture, and it provides a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and enjoy all the latest developments in these genres.
