Shop Titans: Soular Eclipse Introduces Ripley and August Events
Wednesday 12 August, 1:50 PM PT
Kabam Games is extending the seventh-anniversary celebrations for Shop Titans with version 26.8.0, an August 2026 update built around a supernatural eclipse and a rookie Reaper who arrives at the shop for the wrong reason. The publisher's promotional campaign calls the season “Soular Eclipse,” while the official patch notes identify the release itself as “Ripples of Reaping.” Together, the two labels describe the same content cycle: a premium worker, two equipment families, a defensive combat statistic, a new Royal Merchant benefit and a calendar of limited-time activities.
Ripley Turns a Clerical Error Into Forbidden Crafting Knowledge
The centerpiece is Ripley, a premium worker unlocked as an offer when a player reaches Merchant Level 37. The official version 26.8.0 notes list a price of $24.99 USD, although Kabam Games separately acknowledges that the Epic Games Store checkout price is $22.99 USD and that an incorrect $24.99 display on that platform is scheduled to be fixed. That distinction matters for an article covering a paid worker: the amount visible before checkout may not be the amount ultimately charged on Epic.
Narratively, Ripley enters with an unusually comic misunderstanding. The Reaper announces that the Shopkeeper's time has come, then discovers—while consulting a large notebook upside down—that the assignment is mistaken. Keen to keep “the powers that be” from learning about the error, the inexperienced but self-assured worker offers forbidden knowledge instead. Most residents cannot perceive Ripley; the supplied story material identifies Serene, Zolea and Yami as exceptions because of their special senses, connection to the dead or formidable kill count. The joke gives a mechanical purchase a character-driven introduction consistent with the game's bantering fantasy tone.

Masks, Scythes and Mana Shield Expand Equipment Strategy
Hiring Ripley unlocks Masks and Scythes. Masks are presented as the first new blueprint family to occupy an Armor slot, while Scythes form a new class of two-handed weapons. Masks are also the main source of Mana Shield, a new Hero statistic represented as “Blue HP.” It absorbs incoming damage before ordinary health is depleted and, according to the official notes, fully regenerates after three turns if its owner is not hit. That creates a tactical rhythm: a Hero who can avoid damage long enough may recover the entire buffer during a battle.
Eternal Rest Reduces the Friction Between Consecutive Quests
Ripley also brings the worker power Eternal Rest. Heroes and Champions begin their rest period as soon as a quest timer ends, rather than waiting until the player manually claims the completed expedition. In practical terms, a team may already be partly or fully recovered when the player returns to collect the result. The ability does not shorten the quest itself, but it can reduce idle time created when a completed quest sits unclaimed.
Autocrafting Gives Royal Merchants a Parallel Production Queue
Version 26.8.0 also adds the Autocrafting Machine for new and existing Royal Merchants. Players can load a queue and provide the required components, after which items are crafted slowly without consuming the usual resources. Queue capacity scales with Royal Merchant loyalty, and the machine does not occupy a furniture slot. This makes it a parallel production channel rather than another object competing for limited shop floor space.

The August Eclipse Calendar Runs Into Early September
The official schedule begins with the Solar Eclipse Community Event from August 13 through August 27. Players cooperate to investigate the darkened skies with Lilu and Grimar, while shops remain under perpetual night without suffering the reduced customer flow normally associated with nighttime. Promotional material describes the wider community campaign as “A Soular Disturbance” and highlights collective rewards, including an eclipse-themed wall customization and a Tier 13 Spirit.
From August 19 through September 1, the Soular Harmony Content Pass asks players to collect Eclipse Medallions. Full access costs 1,500 Gems and includes themed rewards such as the Eclipsed Uniform customization, Eclipsed Pair and Aperture Catalyst blueprints, decorations and the Forsaken player title for completing all tasks. The separate Soular Flair Login Calendar runs from August 28 through September 7 and offers seven days of rewards during its eleven-day availability window, culminating in the Eclipse Demon shopkeeper mask.

Balance Changes and a Revised Tower of Titans Schedule
The update reduces base crafting times for Shields, Rings, Quivers, Idols, Catalysts, Elements and Spirits, while increasing the base times for Instruments and Dual Wields by roughly 10 percent. The Wooden Shield's value has also been slightly reduced to correct a bug. These adjustments arrive alongside new item families, limiting the risk that the expanded catalogue simply leaves older categories untouched.
A Free-to-Play Update Across Mobile and PC
Shop Titans remains free to download, with optional purchases, on the Apple App Store, Google Play, Google Play Games for PC, Steam and the Epic Games Store. The official Titan Talk episode covering “Ripples of Reaping” previews Ripley and the month's additions.
