Jeff the Land Shark, Marvel's most endearing aquatic companion, is set to make a significant splash this summer with his debut in a five-issue limited comic series, launching on June 18, 2025. This series, penned by Jeff's co-creator Kelly Thompson and illustrated by the acclaimed Tokitokoro, marks Jeff's transition from a fan-favorite sidekick to a leading character in his own right.

The inaugural issue boasts a collection of six captivating covers, each offering a unique artistic interpretation of Jeff. The standard cover by Gurihiru captures Jeff's playful essence, while Stanley “Artgerm” Lau's Marvel Rivals variant presents a dynamic and heroic portrayal, reflecting Jeff's recent popularity surge from the Marvel Rivals video game. Additional variants by Tokitokoro, Nao Fuji, Rickie Yagawa, and Todd Nauck provide fans with a diverse array of visual styles, celebrating the multifaceted nature of Jeff's character.

In this new narrative, Jeff embarks on his most perilous adventure yet. An unexpected mishap in the Sanctum Sanctorum results in the creation of a mischievous "Shadow Jeff," compelling our protagonist to traverse the Marvel Universe in a quest to rectify the chaos and reaffirm his status as the beloved land shark. This storyline promises to blend the humor and charm that fans adore with deeper character development and thrilling escapades.
