Filming began in June 2023, taking place on location in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, providing the film with its distinct gritty and atmospheric setting. The production wrapped up in September 2023, and Die Alone made its festival debut at the Cinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival in 2024, later hitting theaters on September 27, 2024.
