LAS VEGAS - Dec. 30, 2022 - Dolby Laboratories, the leader in immersive entertainment experiences, and Imagine Dragons, the GRAMMY® award-winning multi-platinum band, are kicking off CES 2023 with a private Dolby Atmos concert at Dolby Live at Park MGM on Thursday, Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. PT.

The concert will benefit the Tyler Robinson Foundation (TRF), Imagine Dragons' nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis, and more than 35 local charities serving underserved communities in the Las Vegas area. Imagine Dragons and Dolby are collaborating with TRF to provide thousands of tickets to team members, volunteers and the people these organizations help so they can enjoy this very special show.

"We are very excited to partner with Dolby to host this special Dolby Atmos concert to benefit TRF and local charities," said Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds. "This is going to be an incredible night with our fans and TRF."

"Imagine Dragons' such a strong relationship with TRF has moved us, so we wanted to find a way to give back to the community that welcomes us with open arms every year for CES, and that we now have the chance to call 'home' with Dolby Live," said Todd Pendleton, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Dolby Laboratories. "We look forward to guests experiencing Imagine Dragons live in Dolby Atmos immersive sound at Dolby Live for this special show."

"An Imagine Dragons concert helped form our foundation, and we are thrilled to share another incredible performance with so many of our supporters who help make our mission possible," said Kim Gradisher, Executive Director of TRF. "We are so grateful to Imagine Dragons and Dolby for this unforgettable experience and support of TRF, our nonprofit partners and our community."

Known for their hit songs Bones, Believer, Demons, Radioactive and Thunder, Imagine Dragons will take guests on an immersive journey in Dolby Atmos as they perform all of their fan favorites. This is the first time ever that Imagine Dragon will perform live in Dolby Atmos, and guests will be able to experience it in one of the world's most technologically advanced facilities, Dolby Live at Park MGM.

Dolby Atmos is an immersive audio experience that transforms the way music is created and enjoyed. At Dolby Live at Park MGM, Dolby Atmos takes live performances to the next level by taking listeners inside the music to reveal details with unparalleled clarity and depth. Whether it's hearing the layers of instruments moving all around you, catching a singer's subtle breathing between lyrics, or being enveloped in a wave of melodies, nothing compares to listening to live music in Dolby Atmos.

Imagine Dragons continues to redefine rock in the 21st century. Filling stadiums, creating anthems that rock the world and breaking records at every turn, the GRAMMY® Diamond Award-winning quartet Imagine Dragons from Las Vegas is one of the biggest rock bands in the world. With cumulative sales of 66 million album equivalents, 55 million digital songs and 110 billion streams, they hold the distinction of being "the only band in history to have achieved four RIAA diamond singles" - "Radioactive" (14x-platinum), "Believer" (10x-platinum), "Demons" (10x-platinum) and "Thunder" (10x-platinum). Since their 2009 debut, they have made five consecutive Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 with Night Visions [2012] (7x-platinum) (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope), Smoke + Mirrors [2015] (platinum) (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope), Evolve [2017] (triple platinum) (KIDINAKORNER/Interscope), Origins [2018] (platinum) (KIDINAKORNER/Interscope), and Mercury - Act 1 [2021]( KIDINAKORNER/Interscope). With the release of Mercury - Act 2 (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope) in 2022, they complete their debut double album produced by the legendary Rick Rubin. The hit single "Bones", featured on Mercury Act 2, recently reached #1 on Alternative Radio and remains in the Top 50 worldwide on Spotify. Dominating radio, they remain "one of only four bands to simultaneously reach the Top 5 singles on Alternative Radio, and the only band to repeat that feat."  They have collaborated with everyone from Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa to Avicii and film composer Hans Zimmer. The group has raised millions of dollars for various causes, including the Tyler Robinson Foundation, a pediatric cancer charity, and singer Dan Reynolds' LOVELOUD Foundation and Festival, which support LGBTQ+ youth. In 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky named them ambassadors for UNITED 24, benefiting humanitarian aid in Ukraine. Most recently, Imagine Dragons earned four nominations at the 2022 American Music Awards, including "Favorite Pop Duo or Group," "Favorite Rock Artist," "Favorite Rock Album" and "Favorite Rock Song." The band was also nominated in the "Group of 2022" category at the 2022 People's Choice Awards.

The Tyler Robinson Foundation (TRF) helps families cope financially and emotionally with the tragedy of a pediatric cancer diagnosis by providing grants to offset living expenses. TRF is the non-profit organization of the multi-platinum selling, GRAMMY Award-winning band Imagine Dragons. The Foundation addresses a critical need in communities across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe. Every year, one in 285 children is diagnosed with cancer. While many pediatric cancer organizations focus on educating and supporting families through the physical and emotional toll of a diagnosis, the enormous financial hardship of cancer treatment for families is rarely addressed. Over 85% of every dollar raised by the Foundation goes directly to families in need. For more information, visit TRF.org.
