Prime-Video - Modern love : Amazon Studios presents the casting for the second season

The Amazon Original Modern Love series returns for a second season with an exceptional cast and new love stories and relationships as beautiful as they are complicated, inspired by the famous New York Times column. This second season was filmed in New York State in Albany, Schenectady and Troy, again in New York and Dublin, Ireland, and will be broadcast on Prime Video later this year in over 240 countries and territories.

Carney is also a writer, director and executive producer. John Crowley (Brooklyn), Marta Cunningham (Insecure), Jesse Peretz (Glow) and Andrew Rannells (Black Monday), will also direct episodes of the anthology series with Celine Held and Logan George (Topside) will co-direct an episode. The episode Rannells will direct is adapted from a personal essay he wrote for the New York Times column.

Todd Hoffman, Trish Hofmann and Anthony Bregman are Executive Producers, with Caitlin Roper and Choire Sicha of The New York Times, Sean Fogel is Producer and Daniel Jones, Editor for "Modern Love", is Co-Producer. The series is produced by Amazon Studios, Storied Media Group, Likely Story and The New York Times.

Synopsis :
Modern Love explores "love in its multitude of forms – including sexual, romantic, familial, platonic, and self love," which are presented in eight half-hour episodes. The Amazon series, based on the New York Times column of the same name, adapts different love stories taking place in New York City.
