The magic of Christmas has once again descended upon Disneyland Paris, where from November 8, 2025, the park transforms into a winter fairy tale. As soon as visitors cross the gates, they are greeted by the iconic sight of Main Street U.S.A., resplendent under its snow-covered garlands and thousands of twinkling lights. A towering 24-meter Christmas tree dominates Town Square, decorated with shimmering ornaments that seem to glow even under the gray skies of Chessy. The smell of hot chocolate mingles with the faint melody of Christmas carols, immersing guests instantly in the warm, nostalgic embrace of Disney’s Enchanted Christmas. Every window tells its own story: characters from classic Disney tales exchange gifts, snowmen smile at passersby, and Chip and Dale play among mountains of presents.

This year marks a particularly exciting edition of the winter season, running until January 6, 2026. New faces join the festivities—Mrs. Claus makes her first-ever appearance in the park, adding a touch of warmth and kindness to the traditional meetings with Santa Claus. Together, they create a charming duo that delights children and adults alike. For those seeking a more regal experience, Belle appears in her winter gown inspired by Beauty and the Beast, while Aurora and Prince Philip grace the Castle Courtyard for elegant photo sessions. Meanwhile, Stitch, Goofy, and even Jack Skellington roam the park in their festive attire, adding a playful chaos that keeps the Christmas spirit alive in every corner of the park.

As the day fades, the true enchantment begins. Starting November 21, the much-loved Tree Lighting Ceremony takes center stage each evening in Town Square. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their friends gather under the glowing tree to lead the crowd through carols sung by a live choir. The facades of Main Street U.S.A. transform with new projection effects, turning the entire avenue into a living canvas of color and light. Each illumination feels personal, as though the magic of childhood itself has been reignited—flickering softly in the eyes of everyone watching.

The return of Mickey’s Sparkling Christmas Parade continues to be a centerpiece of the celebration. Awarded the Brass Ring Award for Most Creative Holiday Show by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) in 2022, this parade remains a dazzling combination of artistry and heart. Donald Duck and Daisy Duck exchange gifts amidst glowing floats, while Mickey and Minnie lead the procession on a sleigh piled high with presents, waving to the crowd as the snow gently falls. The synchronization between music, movement, and lighting is so seamless it feels like stepping into a Disney short film come to life. Children laugh and wave, adults capture the moment on their phones, and for a few minutes, time seems to stop entirely.

Beyond the parades, Disneyland Paris also cultivates the cozy essence of Christmas through its Gourmet Chalets, scattered between Fantasyland and Walt Disney Studios Park. Visitors warm their hands on cups of mulled wine or hot chocolate, savor golden waffles, and indulge in comforting soups that blend perfectly with the crisp winter air. This part of the park feels less like a theme park and more like a small Alpine village brought to life by Disney magic—each bite another layer in an ever-deepening sensory experience.

The “Let’s Sing Christmas” show at Videopolis in Discoveryland is another highlight of the season, inviting audiences to join Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy in a lively sing-along of beloved holiday classics such as Petit Papa Noël and Vive le Vent. The joy in the crowd is palpable—children singing at the top of their lungs while parents clap along, some with tears in their eyes at the nostalgia of hearing these tunes once more. Nearby, the Disney Princesses gather at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle for a daily waltz, a mesmerizing display of elegance and choreography that celebrates the timeless grace of Cinderella, Tiana, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Ariel, Snow White, and Aurora.

Every element of this season is built around one guiding principle: togetherness. Whether watching the fireworks burst above the castle on New Year’s Eve or sharing a hot drink in the glow of the Main Street garlands, families rediscover a sense of connection that daily life often erodes. For some, it’s a tradition returning year after year; for others, it’s the first time they experience this fairytale come to life. Disneyland Paris succeeds, yet again, in making even the coldest winter days feel warm.

As guests exit the park under the twinkling arch of lights, the echo of laughter and music lingers in the air—a reminder that Christmas at Disneyland Paris isn’t merely a spectacle, but a shared story. It’s where imagination meets celebration, and where even the most skeptical adult might find themselves humming along, believing in magic once more.
