Disneyland Paris has lit up the skies with the world premiere of its new show, the Disney Electrical Sky Parade. This exceptional night-time experience transports guests on a celestial journey through a dazzling drone parade, fusing light fountains, projections and aerial choreography, orchestrated majestically around Sleeping Beauty's Castle.
This significant addition to the entertainment offering is a vibrant tribute to the Main Street Electrical Parade, an iconic night-time experience that marked the history of Disneyland Paris from 1992 to 2003. Whether visitors are nostalgic for previous years or newcomers, they can rediscover this Disney Parks landmark in a modernized, never-before-seen version.
Up to 500 drones move through the sky, taking on the appearance of luminous floats symbolizing the icons of the Main Street Electrical Parade, such as Mickey and friends' sparkling train, Elliott's lovable dragon and Cinderella's fairy-tale carriage. Iconic electro-synth-magnetic music, performed in a revisited version, guides this extraordinary celebration of nighttime magic and enchantment.
The Disney Electrical Sky Parade was made possible thanks to the exceptional collaboration between the Disneyland Paris show teams and Dronisos, the official technology supplier. Dronisos, a pioneer and European leader in drone shows based in France, the United States and the Middle East, played a decisive role in bringing this spellbinding experience to life. This novelty follows in the footsteps of recent nocturnal productions such as Disney D-Light, Avengers: Power the Night and the remarkable drone show presented on July 14, 2023.
The parade takes place every evening at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle, visible from Main Street USA. It begins each evening when the park closes, and lasts for around 8 minutes, although its frequency may vary according to weather and attendance.
In addition to its cutting-edge technology, the Disney Electrical Sky Parade also boasts an inventive approach to design and storytelling. The luminous floats of the drones are freely inspired by the carts of the legendary Main Street Electrical Parade, inaugurated in 1972 at the Disneyland Resort.
The original electro-synthetic-magnetic musical compositions, featuring cult tracks from Disney films, enliven the show and encourage active audience participation. The drones interact with each other, creating complex, evolving figures that act as moving pixels in the sky.
This innovative presentation was made possible by a new night-time sequence that seamlessly integrates synchronized drones, fireworks, lasers, video projections, lights and fountains. The drones in the Disney Electrical Sky Parade not only carry bright RGB LED orbs, but are also equipped with fireworks for the first time.
The Disney Electrical Sky Parade offers a nostalgic journey for experienced park visitors, allowing them to relive cherished childhood memories, while younger visitors have the chance to experience this Disney Parks classic in a never-before-seen format.
The creation of the Disney Electrical Sky Parade involved a collaborative effort between the Disneyland Paris entertainment teams and Dronisos, Disneyland Paris' official technology provider and a leading drone show operator with a presence in France, the United States and the Middle East. This inspiring addition follows in the footsteps of recent night-time productions such as the acclaimed Disney D-Light, Avengers: Power the Night and the July 14, 2023 drone show.
