The new Parc Asterix Festival Toutatis zone has been the object of much attention since its opening on April 8th, from visitors, park fans and the media alike. The Parc Asterix had to inaugurate it as it should be. This was done this weekend, in the presence of the General Manager of the Parc Asterix, Delphine Pons, as well as the godparents of the flagship attraction of the "Toutatis" zone, the actors Philippe Lacheau, Elodie Fontan, Julien Arruti, and Reem Kherici.

On the program of the festivities: grandiose decor, fireworks show, Celtic orchestras, Martin Solveig's DJ Set, without forgetting the inaugural gesture of the Toutatis attraction by Philippe Lacheau. We could meet Audrey Fleurot, Jean Paul Rouve, Arnaud Ducret, Bilal Hassani, Elodie Gossuin, Ludivine Sagnier or Maeva Coucke.

This new area dedicated to the Gaulish God Toutatis extends over 3 hectares with an exceptional scenography in the Universe of Gaul. After more than 2 years of work and a budget of 36 million euros, this family area offers a major attraction, a family attraction, a playground, a restaurant, a sweet kiosk and a store.

The Chez Gyrofolix attraction is a family attraction whose hypnotic movement will amuse the youngest and the oldest. With its 4 arms that rotate in orbit, visitors will fly over peaks. For the little Gauls, the Golden Boar playground is located at the entrance of the zone. With its many activities and its giant boar, it is the largest play area ever created in the Park.

As for Toutatis, after more than two years of work carried out by the greatest specialists, the opening of the new attraction at Parc Asterix, Toutatis, took place on April 8. And its characteristics alone make you dizzy!

Visitors embark on a journey rich in sensations during which they experience no less than 7 accelerations forward and backward, up to a maximum speed of 110km/h (French record). On more than 1300m of circuit, they cross a total of 32 elements, including a vertical arrow of 51m height, a fall inclined at 101°, 3 inversions, and feel 23 airtimes* (world record for a steel roller coaster). 3 trains take turns, each composed of 5 vehicles that can accommodate 4 passengers (20 seats).

Parc Astérix, a potion tested and approved for over 30 years. 35 km north of Paris, Parc Asterix is a mix of 47 attractions and shows staged in 6 universes (Gaul, the Roman Empire, Ancient Greece, the Vikings, Through Time and Egypt). Parc Asterix is a stunning adventure aboard OzIris, the pharaonic attraction, or Goudurix, the roller coaster with 7 loops; emotions for the little Gauls in Dogmatix's Forest, or sensations for the whole family in the Pegasus Express attraction! And after a day full of adventures, the Park also offers three hotels with a unique atmosphere, in the heart of the forest, to prolong the experience!
