Mitch Gerads is an American comic book artist and illustrator known for his work on titles for major publishers such as DC Comics and Marvel Comics. He was born in Arizona in 1984 and developed a love of comics at a young age, inspired by the work of artists such as Jim Lee and Alex Ross.

Mitch Gerads began his professional career in the mid-2000s, working on titles for independent publishers such as Oni Press and Image Comics. He gained wider recognition for his work on the Vertigo Comics series The Sheriff of Babylon, which he co-created with writer Tom King. The series, which explores the aftermath of the Iraq War, showcased Mitch Gerads' ability to balance gritty realism with emotional depth and nuance.

Mitch Gerads continued to work for DC Comics on titles such as Batman and Mister Miracle, the latter of which earned him critical acclaim and numerous industry awards. He also worked on Marvel Comics' The Punisher and King in Black: Namor.

-          Batman (DC Comics): Gerads worked on several issues of the main Batman series, as well as the crossover event Dark Nights: Metal. His artwork for these titles showcased his ability to balance action and emotion, and his attention to detail in depicting Gotham City and its inhabitants.
-          Mister Miracle (DC Comics): Gerads worked with writer Tom King on this critically acclaimed limited series, which explores the life of superhero Scott Free as he grapples with trauma and existential questions.
