Netflix - Stranger Things: The Experience: An unforgettable experience for all fans of this cult series

By Mulder, Paris, Paris Event Center, 09 march 2023

Tomorrow the immersive experience Stranger Things: The Experience will open its doors and we were lucky enough to be among the first to discover its French version. Visitors are transported to Hawkins in 1986 at the Paris Event Center, Porte de la Villette. Despite the fact that we could not take pictures for confidentiality reasons that we understand perfectly, we can now present you our video and our pictures of the post experience room where visitors will be able to drink, eat and especially complete their collection of products derived from this cult saga.

Stranger Things: The Experience is an immersive experience inspired by the Netflix cult series and is divided into four distinct rooms in which three teams (blue, red and yellow) will have to join forces to make good triumph. After a waiting room in which visitors will have to answer some questions about their dreams of the characters present to create with visitors an immersive experience. The first room allows the spectators to be tested and to reveal the common power of each group composed of several people. For our part, we had to make sure that three marbles could move in the center of a determined surface.

The second room is much more immersive and shows us the importance of our mission and helping the heroes of Stranger Things to fight against the evil villain Dr. Martin Brenner. The third room places the audience in a research room and they will have to face multiple creatures and their repeated attacks before taking a pair of 3D glasses and entering the last room which is the highlight of the show. This room is in our eyes an unforgettable experience worthy of the greatest current attractions of theme parks like Universal Studios and the spectators will discover a confrontation between Eleven and Max Mayfield and creatures of the world in reverse.  The special effects are perfectly mastered and offer a striking immersion with effects capable of making you jump.

The last room is a kind of small shopping mall with themed restaurants (pizzeria, ice cream shop, bar), merchandising stores and also three experiences: the cult sofa of the series, a retro video game room from the 80s and also a photocall with a very realistic Vecna. The experience lasts more than an hour including the last room and you will come out completely conquered if you are a fan like us of the series Stranger Things.

This very successful experience allows you to become the hero or heroine of a brand new adventure in the Hawkins laboratory and to help the main characters of Stranger Things. The Experience takes visitors on a perilous journey through the famous Hawkins lab to the Upside Down. The Experience, developed entirely with the show's creators, propels visitors into a parallel universe where they must escape the terrifying creatures lurking in the darkness and use their powers to save Hawkins.

In the final room, fans will also have the opportunity to explore Mix-Tape, an area dedicated to the show's iconic locations. Here, they'll be able to grab a USS Butterscotch sundae at Scoops Ahoy, try to beat the MADMAX high score at the Palace Arcade, enjoy unique cocktails at a one-of-a-kind Stranger Things bar, purchase exclusive merchandise from the series, and get up close and personal with an old enemy of the gang.

Stranger Things: The Experience follows the resounding success of the Stranger Things pop-up store that brought the Upside Down to Paris last June, welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors and fans of the series. We came out completely conquered and we can only advise you to go there tomorrow to be among the first to live this unforgettable experience.
