Festivals - SDFF 2017 : Our first selection of movies to see

With under 2 weeks until the San Diego Intl Film Festival takes over part of Downtown San Diego (and one theater in La Jolla), the full schedule of movies has been released, and there are quite a few I'm planning on seeing. The opening night film this year is MARSHALL starring Chadwick Boseman, Josh Gad, Kate Hudson, Dan Stevens, Sterling K. Brown, and James Cromwell and is based on the story of one of future US Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall's first cases as a lawyer for NAACP. I've been looking forward to this movie for a while, and plan on seeing it that night. This year there are quite a few movies on the remaining schedule that I'm planning on seeing including the following:

Entanglement
starring Thomas Middleditch , Jess Weixler , Diana Bang

The Upside
starring Bryan Cranston, Kevin Hart, Nicole Kidman, Julianna Margulies, and Aja Naomi King)

In addition I'll be covering the red carpet on opening night, as well as a few of the panels that are taking place during the festival which runs from October 4th until October 9th in various locations in Downtown San Diego and La Jolla.
