Have you ever wonder what happens when a book ends? What happens when the protagonist grows up? Well, this is our opportunity to know what happens to the little Christopher Robin when he isn’t in this fantasy world and has to live his life outside the woods in England. This young man lived through the world war II and had to live the aftermath of this war like losing his family; adapting in a changing world and making a career once he has his life “figured out”

This movie brings the feelings to everyone that knows or have watched Winnie the Pooh at some point in their live. Christopher Robin and his friends are really an unforgettable memory for most people, and that’s why its name in latin-america is “Christopher Robin, un recuerdo inolvidable”.

From the beginning, this movie overflows the audience with nostalgia as we see our beloved childhood characters come to life in a different kind of animation. Winnie the Pooh (“Pooh” for friends), Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Rabbit, Kanga, Roo (“Rito” shorter of “cangurito” in Spanish) are having tea in the 100 acre wood just like in the good old days and the intro brings memories to the grown up attendees by showing pages of the book, with vintage details and drawings of the characters in the original version.

This film is for general audiences but based on the heavy emotional plot, the long screen time and the animation, kids may not enjoy the movie as much as adults do, but surely they would enjoy it even without having as much emotional background as grown ups.

The cinematography is beautiful. The way the scenes are shown, the colors, the backgrounds, the angles and the camera movements are made in balance with the soundtrack to fill your eyes with tears. Speaking of soundtrack, the musical arrangements and little modifications to the original sound in the cartoon can bring tears to the attendees.

Christopher Robin is film that everyone must see. The cast of this movie does their part in an impeccable way but that is no surprise considering all the great actors that play a role in here: Ewan McGregor (as Christopher Robin), Hayley Atwell (as Evelyn); and so does the voice cast Peter Capaldi (as Rabbit), Toby Jones (as Owl), among others.
