Parc Astérix celebrates its 35th anniversary in style, reaching a new attendance record of 2,842,000 visitors in 2024, surpassing the previous year's figures (2,814,000 visitors in 2023). The park, owned by the Compagnie des Alpes group, reinforces its position as the second most visited amusement park in France, an undeniable success that underlines its appeal and capacity for innovation.

This year, two major new attractions captivated visitors. Firstly, La Tour de Numérobis, a vertiginous attraction located in the park's Egyptian zone, offering an immersive experience at the heart of ancient Egypt. Then there's the first Gallic musical comedy, C'est du Délire! which brings Gallic humor and culture to the heart of the park, appealing to young and old alike.

Encouraged by its success, Parc Astérix confirms its status as a preferred destination for short breaks. The Les Trois Hiboux, La Cité Suspendue and Les Quais de Lutèce hotels boast exceptional occupancy rates, reaching over 90% during the summer. This growing popularity testifies to the park's appeal as a destination in its own right, where families can extend their adventure with an overnight stay.

The seasonal events Fear in the Park (October 5-November 11) and Gaulish Christmas (December 21-January 5) are also looking promising, with a series of new features sure to attract many visitors. These festive periods will enable the park to broaden its offering and reinforce its position as a must-see leisure destination all year round.
Delphine Pons, General Manager of Parc Astérix, points out that this growth in visitor numbers bears witness to the park's commitment to offering ever more innovative experiences: “The continuing growth in our visitor numbers and the enthusiasm surrounding our new attractions bear witness to the quality of our offering and our ability to renew ourselves. We remain committed to investing in exceptional experiences that will captivate our visitors year after year.”

To enrich the visitor experience, the Gallic zone is expanding with the launch of the garage of Ketautomatix, the famous Gallic blacksmith. Visitors will have the opportunity to try out a brand-new range of chariots, designed to tackle steep inclines, tight bends and intense acceleration. The attraction promises to be a thrilling family experience, and visitors will be able to discover this exclusive world preview.

This 35th anniversary marks an emblematic year for Parc Astérix, reinforcing its status and affirming its development potential for years to come.
