Ice Nine Kills has unleashed their latest single, A Work of Art, as the official song for the highly anticipated slasher sequel Terrifier 3, which hits theaters nationwide today, October 11, 2024. Accompanying the release, the band also dropped a 14-minute extended-cut music video filled with grisly horror scenes, perfect for the franchise’s gore-loving audience. The original version of the video premiered in over 300 theaters across the U.S. last night during a special double feature screening of Terrifier 2 and Terrifier 3 at AMC and Marcus theaters, thrilling fans with never-before-seen footage.

The cinematic music video, directed by frequent Ice Nine Kills collaborator Jensen Noen, features an impressive lineup of talent from the Terrifier universe, including David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown), Catherine Corcoran, and Leah Voysey. Special appearances by Sirius XM’s Jose Mangin, legendary drummer Richard Christy, and bassist Shavo Odadjian of System of a Down only add to the music video’s star power. The special effects were created by Academy Award-winning artist Christopher Nelson, whose expertise in horror makeup is evident in the gruesome, blood-soaked visuals that elevate the video into a horror experience of its own.

Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas shared his excitement for the collaboration, expressing how creating a track for Terrifier 3 was like stepping into a horror playground that perfectly mirrors the dark and twisted energy of both the band and the film franchise. The extended-cut version of the video, with seven minutes of additional footage, marks a new chapter for Ice Nine Kills, expanding the band’s INKverse and leaving fans eager for what’s next.

In celebration of the release, Ice Nine Kills launched an exclusive Nightmare on the Ninth merch collection dedicated to Terrifier 3. The collaboration brings fans a special range of officially licensed gear, including limited-edition clothing items, available for purchase at NightmareOnTheNinth.com. This merch drop is part of the band’s monthly tradition of releasing horror-themed merchandise, keeping their fanbase engaged with fresh, unique content.
