Parc Astérix opens its doors for another exceptional summer season, from July 13 to August 31, 2024. This summer, visitors will be able to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Gaulish Summer, with extended opening hours until 10pm, allowing them to experience unforgettable days and evenings at the heart of the Asterix and Obelix universe. This year, the Park has plenty of surprises in store, combining new attractions, iconic attractions, breathtaking shows and unique culinary experiences.

For this summer season, several iconic shows make their grand return. “Du Rififi dans la Basse-Cour” returns to the Théâtre du Barde, where a Roman soldier catapulted into the Gaulish Village finds himself embroiled in the adventures of Bucolix and his farmyard companions. This 30-minute open-air family show promises to delight young and old with its humor and twists and turns. The “Le Ciel Vous Tombe sur la Tête” fireworks show is another highlight of the season. Every evening at dusk, visitors can enjoy this spectacular show that lights up the sky with brilliant colors and fireworks, offering a magical conclusion to a busy day.

From July 13 to August 31, 2024, the Banquet Gaulois makes its grand return, offering a never-before-seen immersive culinary experience. Visitors are invited to partake in a feast in the company of the comic book heroes: Asterix, Obelix, Abraracourcix, Bonemine, Falbala, and of course, the bard Assurancetourix. Set in the heart of the Gaulish Village, this banquet features a generous buffet of charcuterie, fish, seafood, a market garden buffet, hot dishes, cheeses, desserts, and the famous wild boar. Two time slots are available for this feast: 6:45pm and 8:45pm. The price is €59 per adult and €29 per child (up to and including age 17). Reservations are strongly recommended, either on site or via the official Parc Astérix website.

To celebrate its 35th anniversary, Parc Astérix has introduced a number of not-to-be-missed novelties. The musical comedy “C'est du Délire!” features Groupidupianix and Sérotonine in an adventure full of magic and humor. Together, they face a variety of obstacles and spread Gaulish magic and humor, promising moments of laughter and wonder for the whole family. Located in the Egyptian zone, this new attraction offers a panoramic view of the Park and its surroundings. Visitors are suspended up to 40 metres high, with a three-phase experience: ascent, panoramic rotation and descent. Designed by renowned architect Edifis, this attraction promises thrills and breathtaking views.

For its 35th anniversary, the Défilé Gaulois has added a new Hispanic float. Visitors can admire this parade led by Asterix and his companions, with new characters such as Pépé, Soupalognon y Crouton, and two flamencas. A new soundtrack accompanies this festive and colorful parade. The Grand Splatch, one of the Park's signature attractions, is transformed into “Revenge of the Pirates”. On a 627-meter-long course, visitors travel through the world of the famous pirates of the comic strip. The Gauls are never far away, adding a touch of humor and surprise to the adventure.

During the summer months, water attractions are particularly popular. Parc Astérix offers 7 water attractions to keep you cool and entertained. Visitors can enjoy thrilling descents and family-friendly water rides on attractions such as Menhir Express, Romus et Rapidus, the Oxygenarium, La Rivière d'Élis, Hydrolix and Épidemaïs Croisière.

In addition to the shows already mentioned, other shows also attract attention. “Les Plongeons de l'Olympe” is a diving competition at the Theater of Poseidon, where 4 Roman and Greek athletes compete in a spectacular diving competition. Judge Papacrapulos hosts the competition in a 3,000-seat stadium, with impressive acrobatic figures. For over 26 years, this cult show has been staging a heist of the century, with rampaging thugs, out-of-touch police officers and explosive stunts, all in a hectic, humorous setting.

To extend the experience, visitors can stay in one of the Park's three hotels, all located in the heart of the Oise Regional Nature Park forest. These hotels are within walking distance of the attractions, and offer privileged access to the attractions every morning, 30 minutes before the official opening. Comprising several majestic period buildings around the Seine, this hotel was voted best themed hotel in the world in 2020. With a capacity of 150 rooms, it has already attracted over 300,000 visitors. Inspired by a forgotten Celtic city, the hotel is set in three hamlets: the potters' village, the artists' village and the druids' village. It offers a peaceful atmosphere, with 150 rooms available. Offering an authentic and warm atmosphere, this hotel nestled in the heart of the forest offers a unique stay with 150 rooms, ideal for families looking for a natural and relaxing setting.

Located 35 km north of Paris, Parc Astérix is an iconic leisure destination offering a unique combination of 50 attractions and shows in 6 themed universes: Gaul, the Roman Empire, Ancient Greece, the Vikings, Through Time and Egypt. Since its creation in 1989, the park has captivated millions of visitors with flagship attractions such as OzIris and Toutatis, as well as areas dedicated to younger visitors such as the Forêt d'Idéfix.
