Parc-Asterix - Le Banquet Gaulois restarts with a bang at Parc Astérix in 2024

Immerse yourself in the magic and history of France's most beloved comic strip with the long-awaited return of Le Banquet Gaulois at Parc Astérix. From May 8, 2024, the park will open its doors for a series of gourmet festivities spanning several select dates until the end of summer.

The Banquet Gaulois is a unique opportunity to experience an old-fashioned evening in the heart of the Asterix Village. Taking place on May 8, 9, 10, 11, 18 and 19, and again from July 13 to August 31, the festivities will enable visitors of all ages to share moments of conviviality and gastronomy in the image of our irreducible Gauls. Asterix, Obelix, Abraracourcix and other emblematic figures from the series will be on hand to welcome guests with entertainment and interactions that promise to be memorable.

On the menu, an opulent buffet will be served, reflecting Gallic culinary traditions with a modern twist. Guests will enjoy a variety of charcuterie, fish, seafood, a diverse market garden buffet, simmered dishes, mature cheeses and a selection of delectable desserts. The highlight of the show will be the famous wild boar, the centerpiece of all Gallic festivities, prepared according to traditional methods.

The banquet décor is inspired by Gallic traditions, with gingham tablecloths, stoneware and Celtic drinking horns adding a palpable authenticity to the festive atmosphere. Entertainment, such as Abraracourcix's welcome speech and Assurancetourix's attempts at song, will enrich the experience, as will dancing and singing by the villagers.

Parc Astérix, located 35 km north of Paris, has been a tried-and-tested and popular entertainment venue for over three decades. It offers a wide range of attractions and shows in six themed universes that captivate young and old alike. With attractions such as OzIris and Goudurix, the park promises unforgettable thrills and adventures. What's more, visitors can extend their experience by staying in one of three themed hotels located in the heart of a forest, offering total immersion in the world of Asterix.

Dates: May 8, 9, 10, 11, 18, 19 and July 13 to August 31, 2024.
Times: Two slots available at 6:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. each evening of the event.
Pricing: €59 for adults and €29 for children up to and including age 17.
Reservations: In advance via www.parcasterix.fr or on site. In the event of inclement weather, the festivities will take place indoors at Restaurant Le Relais Gaulois.
