Kevin Costner will premiere his latest film, Horizon, An American Saga, at the prestigious 77th Cannes Film Festival. The film, which is the first part of a two-part saga exploring the American West, will be presented out of competition and will feature Kevin Costner not only as director but also as one of the lead actors, alongside Sienna Miller.

Kevin Costner, a much-loved and popular actor, is best known for his portrayal of Eliot Ness in Brian De Palma's Intouchables. He first stepped behind the camera in 1990 with Dances with Wolves, a humanist chronicle in which he plays a Union Army soldier who becomes a member of a Sioux tribe. The film became a cultural landmark, winning critical acclaim and several Oscars, including Best Picture.
