In an exciting announcement today, Hasbro unveiled new additions to its Marvel Legends Series, spotlighting characters from the Marvel cinematic universe with a special focus on Deadpool and Wolverine based on their roles in Deadpool 2. The reveal, rich with nods to Marvel’s expansive history, showcased two figures: the Marvel Legends Series Wolverine and Deadpool, which are set to capture the essence of their latest cinematic appearances.
The newly introduced Wolverine figure is styled in a muscle tee and jeans, echoing his look from the memorable post-credits scene in Deadpool 2, which itself references his rugged appearance in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. This figure is a hybrid of nostalgia and innovation, merging the Logan figure with the swappable heads from 2019’s motorcycle jacket version and the body of the 2019 Amazon Exclusive Wolverine.
On the other hand, the Deadpool figure, previously available in a 2019 two-pack release with Negasonic Teenage Warhead, returns to the spotlight solo. This release aligns with Hasbro's Deadpool Legacy packaging, aiming to refresh the collectible’s appeal among both established collectors and newcomers. These figures are part of a broader initiative to connect with fans following the February 2024 teaser of the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine film. Each figure is priced at $24.99 and will be available in the spring of 2024. Similarly, Deadpool is equipped with 10 accessories such as Wade's favorite unicorn and his signature katanas, enhancing its display and play value. These figures are slated for pre-order on April Pool’s Day (April 1st) at 10 AM ET, available through Hasbro Pulse, Amazon, and other major retailers.
