Building on a tradition of exceptional beachfront experiences, Vilebrequin is thrilled to announce another season at Cannes’ prestigious L'Ondine beach. This year’s collaboration, set against the scenic backdrop of the iconic Croisette, continues to embody the spirit of sophistication and leisure that both Vilebrequin and L'Ondine are renowned for. The 2024 Cannes Film Festival, running from May 14-25, will once again find its most stylish attendees soaking up the sun, enjoying gourmet dining, and experiencing unparalleled entertainment at Vilebrequin La Plage.
The beach has been completely transformed by the imaginative mind of Vincent Darré, celebrated interior architect, who reimagined the space with a playful yet sophisticated approach that perfectly complements the Vilebrequin aesthetic. Known for his dreamlike interiors, Darré has infused the beachfront with vibrant colors and Mediterranean flair, creating a perfect setting for both relaxation and celebration during the film festival.
This year, L'Ondine’s dining experience will be elevated with beautifully designed terraces and elegant dining structures that promise to offer guests a sumptuous menu influenced by local flavors. The culinary offerings have been specially designed to cater to an international palette, with lunch and dinner options set to provide a taste of the locale’s best, priced at approximately €80 per person.
For the first time at Cannes, the renowned Caviar Kaspia will grace Vilebrequin La Plage with its presence throughout the festival. Guests will indulge in luxurious caviar, exquisite salmon blinis, and Caviar Kaspia’s signature vodka, right on the sands beside the azure waters of the Mediterranean. This marks a glamorous new chapter for both Vilebrequin and Caviar Kaspia, blending high fashion with high dining.
In a special highlight, the festival’s gastronomy will peak with an Italian-themed menu curated by the talented Luana and Alessandro Belmondo. On May 20-22, these culinary artists will offer a menu that celebrates traditional Italian fare, including antipasti, pasta dishes, and delightful desserts, reflecting the rich culinary heritage of Italy intertwined with the chic Riviera lifestyle, all for €90 per person.
Adding a new dimension to this year’s festival, the TechCannes Business Club, inaugurated by Sarah Lelouch in January 2024, will host a series of debates and discussions focusing on the intersection of technology and cinema. From May 17-20, industry leaders will explore innovative trends, creative funding solutions, and future tech developments that are shaping the global cinematic landscape.
The excitement at L'Ondine doesn’t stop with the film festival. Throughout the summer, the beach will play host to a variety of cultural and entertainment events, including live DJ sets and performances that promise to keep the spirit of Cannes alive.
