Convention - Cinemacon 2024 : Amy Poehler to be Honored with CinemaCon Vanguard Award

CinemaCon General Manager Mitch Neuhauser has announced that actress Amy Poehler has been chosen to receive this year's CinemaCon Vanguard Award. The award will be presented to Amy Poehler at the Big Screen Achievement Awards ceremony on April 11, 2024, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. The event, one of the highlights of the annual CinemaCon convention scheduled for April 8-11, is designed to celebrate the achievements of notable figures in the film industry.

Amy Poehler, whose career spans more than twenty years, has established herself as a beloved figure in comedy and film. Mitch Neuhauser praised Ms. Poehler's versatility, talent and ability to bring joy to audiences around the world. He highlighted her role in the 2015 hit film Inside Out, which screened at CinemaCon, and said he was looking forward to her next project, Inside Out 2, in which Ms. Poehler reprises her role as Joy.

Inside Out 2, scheduled for release in the U.S. on June 14, 2024, promises to deepen the emotional landscape of its characters, introducing new emotions.
