In a stunning turn of events, Roxxon Energy Corporation has officially acquired Marvel Comics, sending shockwaves throughout the comic book industry. The corporate giant wasted no time in announcing its debut into the realm of superhero storytelling with the upcoming release of Roxxon presents: Thor #1, set to hit shelves this April. This unexpected move follows the success of Al Ewing's Immortal Thor run, and the one-shot promises a unique take on the God of Thunder.

Roxxon presents: Thor #1, written by Al Ewing and illustrated by Marvel superstar Greg Land, introduces readers to the all-new Roxxin’ Thor. Positioned as the defender of big business and shareholder value, Roxxin' Thor emerges whenever the Earth's salvation takes a turn that Roxxon Energy Corporation deems unfavorable. This development follows recent issues of Immortal Thor, where Roxxon CEO Dario Agger, also known as the Minotaur, hatches a cunning plan to tarnish Thor's image.

In Immortal Thor #9, Ewing and artist Ibraim Roberson delve into the Son of Odin's confrontation with Roxxon at their corporate headquarters.
