Today, Prime Video officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Season Three of the hit series Reacher will be based on Lee Child's gripping novel Persuader, the seventh installment in the Jack Reacher series.

Returning to the Reacher universe is Maria Sten, known for her role in Swamp Thing, reprising the character of Frances Neagley. Sten will join forces with the show's lead, Alan Ritchson, as they delve into a new and thrilling storyline.

In Season Three, Reacher faces a daunting challenge as he must go undercover to rescue an informant who is held captive by a haunting foe from his own past. The intense narrative promises to deliver the action-packed and suspenseful storytelling that fans have come to love.

Currently in production in Toronto, Season Three's renewal was announced in December 2023, just two weeks before the premiere of Season Two on Prime Video. Season Two quickly became the #1 title on Prime Video worldwide during its premiere weekend for both series and movies in 2023, boasting a global audience increase of 50% between seasons in the first three days after its December 15, 2023 debut.

All episodes from the first two seasons of Reacher are now available for streaming on Prime Video.

Produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and Paramount Television Studios, Reacher is based on the novels by Lee Child, who also serves as an executive producer on the series. Emmy-nominated writer Nick Santora, the show's creator, executive producer, and showrunner, continues to bring the thrilling world of Reacher to life.

Joining Santora and Child as executive producers for Season Three are Alan Ritchson, Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, and David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance. Carolyn Harris and Kenny Madrid take the lead as executives-in-charge of the series for Skydance Television.

As fans eagerly await the upcoming season, Reacher continues to captivate audiences with its compelling characters, gripping storytelling, and relentless pursuit of justice.

Synopsis :
In the upcoming season of Reacher, our titular hero, Jack Reacher, finds himself embroiled in a high-stakes operation with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Tasked with bringing down the elusive Zachary Beck, suspected of smuggling drugs under the guise of a rug trading operation, Reacher must also rescue an undercover DEA agent who is in grave danger. To infiltrate Beck's world, Reacher orchestrates a fake kidnapping of Beck's son, Richard, earning the family's trust. As he delves deeper into the criminal enterprise, Reacher discovers that Beck is involved in gun-running rather than drug trafficking. Despite the DEA's attempt to pull him out upon realizing the mistaken assumption, Reacher remains committed to the mission. Reacher, working undercover, eliminates Beck's minions to protect his cover, but the operation takes a personal turn when he learns that Francis Xavier Quinn, a former Military Intelligence agent responsible for brutally murdering Reacher's colleague, Dominique Kohl, is behind the gun-running operation. Determined to settle the score with Quinn, Reacher refuses to back down. As the DEA tries to navigate the complexities of the situation, Reacher perseveres, facing numerous challenges and setbacks. He ultimately succeeds in freeing the undercover DEA agent and confronts Quinn, seeking justice for the past. The season unfolds with intense action, suspenseful moments, and a relentless pursuit of justice as Reacher takes on the powerful forces of the international gun-running enterprise.
