Marvel, the creative powerhouse behind the Black, White & Blood line, is set to plunge fans into the depths of the dark side once again with its upcoming release, "Star Wars: Darth Maul - Black, White & Red." Following the success of "Darth Vader – Black, White & Red," this four-part standalone blockbuster promises to spotlight the full terror of the menacing Sith Lord, Darth Maul.

Scheduled to hit stands on April 25, 2024, this latest installment of the Black, White & Blood series takes a unique approach, featuring a new superstar creative team with each issue. Leading the charge is acclaimed writer Benjamin Percy, renowned for his work on titles like Wolverine and Ghost Rider, alongside artist Stefano Raffaele, known for his blood-soaked horror in series such as Moon Knight: Black, White & Blood and Darth Vader: Black, White & Red.

The series delves into the mysterious history of Darth Maul, exploring never-before-seen missions and shedding light on his twisted bond with the dark master, Palpatine. The initial story will see Maul embarking on a one-man war against a newly discovered adversary for the Sith.

Palpatine dispatches Maul to investigate a prison ship transporting a mysterious group known as the Final Occultation, which has gone offline. What Maul discovers on board is described as the stuff of nightmares. Now, it's up to the silent assassin to thwart this dark and unstable threat, determined to unleash chaos upon the galaxy.

In an interview with StarWars.com, writer Benjamin Percy revealed insights into Maul's character, stating, “The silent assassin has a busy inner world. He is loyal to Palpatine, but that does not make him a puppet or a tool. He is willing to make his own decisions — ones that could shake the very fabric of the galaxy — as is the case in this chiller and thriller of a story, ‘The Final Occultation.’”

Editor Mark Paniccia, referencing the success of "Darth Vader: Black, White & Red," expressed excitement for the upcoming series. "We immediately started getting requests to feature Darth Maul for our next journey into the unique Black, White & Blood comic format.
