Trivial Pursuit, a classic board game invented in 1979 by Scott Abbott and Chris Haney, has become a timeless favorite among trivia enthusiasts worldwide. The game is designed to test players' knowledge across a broad spectrum of categories, ranging from history and science to entertainment and sports. The iconic circular board is divided into six color-coded wedges, each representing a different category. Players advance by correctly answering questions corresponding to the color they land on after rolling the dice. The ultimate objective is to collect one wedge from each category and make it to the center of the board to answer a final question and win the game.

Trivial Pursuit has seen numerous editions and variations since its inception, catering to different interests and knowledge levels. The game's success lies in its ability to engage players in friendly competition while fostering intellectual curiosity. Whether played during family gatherings, game nights, or social events, Trivial Pursuit continues to be a go-to choice for those seeking a challenging yet entertaining trivia experience. Its enduring popularity highlights the universal appeal of testing one's knowledge across diverse subjects in a fun and interactive format.
