Sony Pictures Entertainment is all set to present Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, A Celebration of Music with a Live Orchestral Concert at the David Geffen Theater at the Academy Museum on Friday, December 1. This exclusive event will feature an exhilarating blend of electronics, turntables, and a live orchestra performing the original score from Columbia Pictures/Sony Pictures Animation's box office hit Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, composed by Academy Award® nominee and Emmy® award-winning composer Daniel Pemberton.

The concert will also include special appearances by notable figures in the Spider-Verse world. Screenwriters/producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller will be in attendance, along with directors Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, writers Dave Callaham, and executive music producer and Grammy® award-nominated artist Metro Boomin.

Metro’s songs and Daniel’s score create a groundbreaking and vital aural portrait of Miles Morales’ world, said screenwriters/producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller. Daniel is a relentlessly inventive composer who circuit bends new instruments for new worlds - creating five unique musical approaches for each universe that he wove into a unified symphony. Metro’s standout songwriting and production aims to not just be authentic but to elevate the struggles of Miles and his family to something lyrical and lovely. Synopsis:
After being reunited with Gwen Stacy, Spider-Man, the lovable Brooklyn-born hero, is catapulted through the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-Heroes charged with protecting its existence. But when the heroes clash over how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself up against them and must redefine what it means to be a hero in order to save the people he loves most.
