This eight-episode season will captivate viewers weekly, with the first three episodes scheduled for release on December 15, followed by successive episodes every Friday through January 19, 2024. Reacher Season Two picks up the story as veteran military police investigator Jack Reacher, portrayed by the dynamic Alan Ritchson, receives a coded message indicating the mysterious and brutal murders of his former U.S. Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigations. With high stakes, Reacher reassembles his chosen family of former teammates, including the formidable Frances Neagley (Maria Sten), the brilliant forensic accountant Karla Dixon (Serinda Swan), and the sharp-witted family man David O’Donnell (Shaun Sipos). Together, they embark on a quest to unravel a mystery where every turn raises the stakes, uncovering questions of betrayal and the ominous question of who will be the next to fall. Based on Lee Child's global best-selling book Bad Luck and Trouble, the series stars Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher, with Maria Sten, Serinda Swan, Shaun Sipos, Ferdinand Kingsley, Robert Patrick, and Domenick Lombardozzi rounding out the ensemble cast.

Reacher is produced by Amazon Studios, Skydance Television, and Paramount Television Studios. The series is based on Lee Child's novels, with Child serving as an executive producer. Emmy-nominated writer Nick Santora, known for his work on Scorpion and Prison Break, is the writer for the television series and serves as showrunner. The executive producers include Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Adam Higgs, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance.

Jack Reacher, the iconic character from the best-selling crime thriller novels by British author Lee Child, has captured the hearts and imaginations of fans worldwide. In the stories, Reacher, a former major in the US Army's military police, roams the United States, taking on various odd jobs and investigating dangerous and suspicious situations.

As of November 1, 2022, 27 novels and short stories have been published, with the most recent novel being No Plan B. The character of Jack Reacher has also been adapted for the screen in three instances, with two films starring Tom Cruise and the latest television series on Amazon Prime Video. Bad Luck and Trouble, the eleventh book in the Jack Reacher series, has been chosen by Amazon Prime Video for the second TV production in their Reacher series.
