The first-ever Coupe de France de Blindtest, organized by ThisisBlindTest in collaboration with WEBEDIA, came to an electrifying conclusion at the Paris Games Week on November 2nd, thrilling a live audience of 2,000 enthusiastic fans. After a rigorous competition that included hundreds of teams from all over France, "Les Zamours," consisting of Bonnie and Laurent, emerged victorious and took home the coveted title of the best blindtest team in France, along with a substantial prize of 5,000 euros.

The journey towards crowning the champions began on October 25, 2023, as hundreds of two-player teams flocked to various venues across France to participate in the qualifying rounds. Only four exceptional teams made it to the grand finale at the Paris Games Week: "Les bloblo" from Val Morel, "Les zamours" from Paris, "Les Pommes" from Lyon, and "Family Affair" from Paris.

The final showdown unfolded with immense excitement and anticipation as 2,000 spectators filled the venue. The competition was masterfully hosted by the influential Lutti, who guided the teams through two intense rounds of musical challenges. Among the fierce competitors, "Les Zamours" exhibited unparalleled speed and accuracy, identifying songs in record time, with their quickest response clocking in at an astonishing 1.68 seconds for the track "Belsunce Breakdown" by Bouga. Their triumphant moment was celebrated on stage as Bertrand Amar, Director of Esports at Webedia, awarded them the grand trophy and the impressive prize money.

The response to the inaugural Coupe de France de Blindtest was overwhelming, with teams converging from all corners of the country, driven by their shared passion for the game. ThisisBlindTest, along with its founders, is proud to have created a vibrant community of devoted blindtest players.
