Dark Rift Horror and RO Pictures have unleashed a blood-soaked teaser trailer and captivating poster art for their highly anticipated horror-comedy flick, "How to Kill Monsters." The movie is poised to make its grand debut at the renowned FrightFest on August 25th, promising a blend of practical FX, gore, and humor that will thrill and delight genre enthusiasts.

Directed by Stewart Sparke, the mastermind behind Book of Monsters, How to Kill Monsters embarks on a nostalgic journey through horror cinema's golden eras. The film's premise follows the lone survivor of a brutal massacre who teams up with an oddball crew of rookie cops and outlaws. Together, they must fend off an otherworldly invasion of Lovecraftian monsters targeting a beleaguered police station.

Sparke, clearly infusing the movie with his adoration for 80s and 90s horror classics, notes, How to Kill Monsters"is a love letter to the films that I grew up watching on VHS. The trailer showcases influences from iconic titles such as Evil Dead 2, Gremlins, and Hellraiser. Sparke adds his own British flair, likening the film's humor to Hot Fuzz and the self-aware narrative twists reminiscent of Scream, promising a blood-soaked rollercoaster that's both nostalgic and refreshing.
