The filmmakers and cast of the breakout horror hit Talk to me (filmmakers Danny and Michael Philippou, and actors Sophie Wilde, Joe Bird, Alexandra Jensen, and Zoe Terakes) will be present at San Diego Comic-Con for a panel and advance screening on Thursday, July 20. They will also be available for select press opportunities.

Danny and Michael Philippou (a.k.a. RackaRacka) discuss their journey from YouTube creators to their feature debut and how their love of genre led them to make the most anticipated horror film of the summer. They will be joined by Talk to Me cast members Sophie Wilde, Joe Bird, Alexandra Jensen, and Zoe Terakes. The panel will be moderated by Jakey Christensen aka NakeyJakey.

Comic-Con & A24 invite you to an advance screening of the highly anticipated horror film of the summer, Talk to me. Join filmmakers Danny and Michael Philippou and the cast for a skin-crawling demonic horror experience. Seating is limited and based on a first come, first serve basis.

Talk to Me is an Australian supernatural horror film released in 2022, marking the feature directorial debut of Danny and Michael Philippou. The screenplay, credited to Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman, was based on a concept by Daley Pearson. The movie centers around a young woman, portrayed by Sophie Wilde, who becomes entangled in the world of the supernatural after participating in a séance involving an embalmed hand. Supporting roles are filled by Alexandra Jensen, Joe Bird, Otis Dhanji, Miranda Otto, Zoe Terakes, Chris Alosio, Marcus Johnson, and Alexandria Steffensen.

The movie had its preview screening on October 30, 2022, at the Adelaide Film Festival, where it closed the event. Subsequently, it celebrated its world premiere as part of the midnight lineup at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. After an intense bidding war, A24 secured the distribution rights for the United States, prevailing over Universal Pictures and other competitors. Talk to Me also had its European premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival and was showcased at South by Southwest (SXSW) in the same year. The film is set to have its Canadian premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival on July 23, 2023.

Synopsis :
When a group of friends discover how to conjure up spirits using a mysterious haunted hand, they get hooked on this new thrill, and the experience goes viral on social networks. There's just one rule: they mustn't hold the hand for more than 90 seconds. When one of them breaks the rule, the spirits catch up with them, forcing them to choose: who to trust, the dead or the living ?
