Nintendo - Nintendo Direct June 2023: Super Mario Wros. wonder, Super Mario rpg and many other games announced

 At a new Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo announced a wide variety of games coming to Nintendo Switch this year, including several games and content featuring Mario and friends, as well as titles developed and published by Nintendo partners.

Among the games announced were Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the next evolution of Mario's adventures, as well as the first new opus in the Super Mario Bros. series. series in over 10 years, to be released on October 20, 2023; Super Mario RPG, the first RPG in the Super Mario series, which returns with new graphics on November 17; a graphically enhanced version of Luigi's Mansion 2, originally released on Nintendo 3DS, coming in 2024; and an all-new title featuring Princess Peach, also to be released in 2024 on Nintendo Switch.

The Nintendo Direct also introduced Mario + The Lapins Crétins Sparks of Hope: The Last Spark Hunter, the second DLC*1 for the tactical adventure game, which will be available today. In addition, the new "Race for Cleanliness" circuit and three more characters from the Mushroom Kingdom will make their debut in wave 5 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe*2 Additional Circuits Pass: Flora Piranha, Wiggler and Kamek.

Nintendo also revealed The return of Detective Pikachu, a cinematic adventure game rich in investigations and ...coffee, to be released on October 6; WarioWare: Move It! a new opus in the WarioWare series requiring you to move your body in a series of fast-paced mini-games, due out on November 3; and new information on Pikmin 4, due out on July 21, including a first look at night expeditions and shiny Pikmin. A demo of Pikmin 4 has also been announced, and will be available on the Nintendo eShop on June 29. In addition, HD versions of Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 are coming to Nintendo Switch and are available today on the Nintendo eShop, both as a bundle and separately.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder

the next evolution of the 2D Super Mario Bros. games is coming to Nintendo Switch. When you touch a prodigious flower, amazing things happen: pipes come to life, hordes of enemies appear, or characters change appearance, to name but a few. Each stage is full of surprises. Super Mario Bros. Wonder will include Princess Peach, Princess Daisy and Yoshi as playable characters, alongside familiar characters such as Mario, Luigi and Toad. In addition, Super Mario Bros. Wonder will feature a new transformation for Mario, allowing him to take on the appearance of an elephant. What other surprises does this prodigious adventure have in store? More details on this game will be announced at a later date. Super Mario Bros. Wonder will arrive on Nintendo Switch on October 20. The game is available for pre-order today on the Nintendo eShop.

Super Mario RPG

Originally released only in Japan and North America on Super NES, Super Mario RPG has been reworked with all-new graphics. Join Mario, Bowser, Princess Peach and original characters Mallow and Geno in an RPG full of twists, turns and treasures. Mario must team up with his allies to face down the dreaded Forgeroi gang and recover seven stars to repair the Road to the Stars. Whether or not you've had the chance to discover the original game, you can immerse yourself in the Nintendo Switch version of the very first RPG in the Super Mario series. Super Mario RPG will arrive on Nintendo Switch on November 17.

 Luigi's Mansion 2

A graphically enhanced version of Luigi's Mansion 2, originally released on Nintendo 3DS, is currently in development for Nintendo Switch. Will Luigi find the courage to save the Valley of Shadows? Get ready to explore haunted mansions filled with spooky spectres and blood-curdling challenges next year. More details on this game will be revealed at a later date.

Princess Peach 

She'll also be the protagonist of a brand-new game scheduled for 2024. More information on this title will be revealed at a later date.

Pikmin 4

welcome to the rescue team. In this game, you take on the role of the team's newest recruit, whose appearance you can customize before setting off to meet the brave rescue dog Otchin and the little Pikmins. New to the series? Don't worry, this is the ideal episode for getting to know Pikmin. Collect treasures across the planet to repair the ship's radar and access new areas to discover, such as underground caves that offer an entirely different environment to that on the surface. Pikmin 4 also sees the arrival of Dandori duels, in which the aim will be to recover more items than your opponent in the allotted time to claim victory and save one of the shipwrecked. What's more, for the first time in the Pikmin series, you'll be able to lead expeditions at night. But when night falls, the creatures go into a frenzy. Fortunately, you can count on the new shiny Pikmin to help you fend them off. Many more surprises await you on this unknown planet. Discover them when Pikmin 4 arrives on Nintendo Switch on July 21. What's more, a demo of Pikmin 4 will be available on June 29 on the Nintendo eShop.

Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2

HD versions of the first two Pikmin games, originally released on Nintendo GameCube, will be arriving on the Nintendo eShop later today. These games will be available for purchase individually or as a bundle combining the two games. A physical version combining the two games will also be available on September 22. With the arrival of these two games on Nintendo Switch, the four main titles in the series - Pikmin 1, Pikmin 2, Pikmin 3 and, from July 21, Pikmin 4 - will all be available on a single console.

DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet - The buried treasure of Zone Zero

More Pokémon, more zones and more stories to discover are on the menu in this two-volume*3 additional content for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. In this story, you'll leave the region of Paldea to venture further into the world of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Volume 1: The Turquoise Mask is scheduled for release in autumn 2023. Volume 2: The Indigo Disc is scheduled for release in winter 2023. The Zero Zone Buried Treasure DLC is already available for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop.

The return of Detective Pikachu

discover the origins of the great Detective Pikachu! Team up with a strong-willed, coffee-loving Pikachu, who also calls himself a great detective, to unravel the strange incidents happening in Ryme City. With the help of many other Pokémon, Tim Goodman and Pikachu, his voluble associate, will work together to solve a series of mysterious incidents in this cinematic adventure game. WarioWare: Move It!

Get ready for even more crazy mini-games with this new opus in the WarioWare series. Hold on to your Joy-Con controllers and move to complete all kinds of mini-games in rapid succession. React quickly and efficiently to achieve victory. Synchronize your movements to succeed in each mini-game. Four*4 players can also play all kinds of mini-games in local multiplayer in Fiesta mode. Get ready to shake things up in over 200 mini-games with WarioWare: Move It!, which will arrive on Nintendo Switch on November 3. The game is available for pre-order today on the Nintendo eShop.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
new amiibo of Zelda and Ganondorf are scheduled for release this winter. Many people are currently exploring Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and it's possible to get even more out of this adventure by scanning certain amiibo to obtain useful in-game items and special fabrics for Link's paravane.

Wave 5 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Additional Circuits Pass

the all-new "Race for Cleanliness" circuit makes its debut in Wave 5 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe*2 Additional Circuits Pass. Additional characters also make their return, including Flora Piranha, originally available in Mario Kart: Double Dash; Wiggler from Mario Kart 7 and Kamek from Mario Kart Tour. This new wave will arrive this summer on Nintendo Switch. The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Additional Circuit Pass includes six waves of eight circuits to be released before the end of 2023. It can be purchased separately on the Nintendo eShop or accessed at no extra cost via a paid subscription to Nintendo Switch Online + Additional Pack*5.

Splatoon 3

Teams from 12 European regions have already begun competing in the turf wars and anarchy matches of Splatoon 3's regional tournaments. Manic Mechanics
