The result of a collaboration between MK2 and the Musée du Louvre, the Cinéma Paradiso Louvre festival has become one of the must-see events of the Parisian summer, combining the arts of cinema, music and gastronomy with heritage to offer an unusual and unforgettable experience, free for all.
The fourth edition will take place in the majestic setting of the Cour Carrée at the Musée du Louvre, from Thursday July 6 to Sunday July 9, starting at 7.30pm. Film buffs of all generations are invited to four evenings with friends and family. With a capacity of 2,500 seats per evening, the festival is open to all free of charge from June 7 to July 4, with registration: www.mk2festivalparadiso.com/
This year, Cinéma Paradiso Louvre is part of the Louvre Museum's new festival "Les Étés du Louvre": concerts under the pyramid, theater and dance in the Cour Lefuel and family activities in the Tuileries gardens will echo the exhibition event "Naples in Paris. The Louvre invites the Musée de Capodimonte". Italy will be in the spotlight in the Cour Carrée, with a selection of rare gems and great classics to rediscover: Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas, in 4K version, Federico Fellini's Eight and a Half, Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West and René Clément's Plein soleil, accompanied by concerts and DJ sets by Busy P, Madame Arthur, Corine and a surprise guest...
To mark its tenth anniversary, Sézane, France's leading online fashion brand, has joined forces with the Cinéma Paradiso Festival, putting culture, creativity and solidarity at the heart of the celebration.
Last but not least, a tribute to Italy will include a tasting of artisanal Italian gelato from AMORINO, as well as typical Italian dishes and desserts from EATALY, the temple of Italian gastronomy. Embrace the essence of Italy and all its flavors: pizzas, foccacias, antipasti and risotti, all accompanied by a glass of CHANDON Garden Spritz.
