Festivals - The Solution Book: The film's crew was on hand tonight at Magnum Beach

Magnum is delighted that Michel Gondry is back on the Croisette, coming to present his latest opus, The Book of Solutions, as part of the Directors' Fortnight. Absent from theaters since 2015, the director was eagerly awaited at the Cannes Film Festival and seduced the audience with his latest opus screened this Sunday, May 21. 
 

Famous for his music videos (Lenny Kravitz, Björk, The Rolling Stones, Daft Punk, Radiohead or Massive Attack...) as much as for his films (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Soyez Sympa, Rembobinez, L'Écume des jours or The Green Hornet), Michel Gondry is applauded around the world for his extraordinary creativity. 
 

His new story is about Marc (Pierre Niney), a director who has run out of inspiration and takes refuge in the Cévennes with his crew to finish his film. There, he joins Blanche Gardin and Vincent Elbaz to build an exciting script. Overwhelmed by his creativity, Marc starts writing the Book of Solutions, a practical advice guide that could be the key to all his problems. 
 

Surrounded by his actors and many personalities of the cinema, Michel Gondry came to celebrate his return to Cannes on the Magnum Beach. A pleasure that the guests present were able to appreciate at its true value, and that they will remember for a long time.
