
Daedalic Entertainment and NACON announced today that their highly anticipated adventure game, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, will be released for PC, PlayStation and Xbox on May 25, 2023. A version for Nintendo Switch is planned for later in the year. Based on J.R.R. Tolkien's beloved Lord of the Rings trilogy, the fantasy game takes players on an epic journey into the heart of Middle-earth, featuring one of the most fascinating characters in Tolkien's universe - Sméagol- Gollum.

Discover never-before-seen gameplay from Middle-earth, with commentary from the developers inspired by the iconic lore of the saga. Daedalic and NACON will be live on Twitch for a special stream showcase at 6:30 p.m. this March 23, 2023.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is a narrative action-adventure game where players will be able to play as Gollum and go on a quest to find his precious. Gollum will have to climb, jump and sneak around to avoid dangers or find advantageous places. Gollum is clever and cunning, but also torn by his dual personality. It's up to the players to decide if Gollum's dark side takes over or if there's a spark of sanity left in the man who was once Sméagol...

Co-published by Daedalic Entertainment and NACON, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is developed by a small team of passionate Tolkienites at Daedalic Entertainment in partnership with Middle-Earth Enterprises. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation®4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. A physical edition for consoles will also be available.
