Lego - Lego DREAMZzz : discover the first episodes of the new animated series

The Lego Group unveiled yesterday its new animated series Lego DREAMZzz. A dive into the fascinating world of dreams, where imagination and creativity are superpowers.

The Lego DREAMZzz series follows the adventures of middle schoolers Mateo, Izzie, Cooper, Logan and Zoey as they join the secret organization known as the Office of Night. They will learn to harness the power of imagination to live out fantastic stories in the dream world, and foil the plans of the tyrannical Nightmare King...

Ten original episodes of the Lego DREAMZzz series were released yesterday on Youtube, Okoo, Prime Video, Netflix, as well as France 4 from June 3. The next ten episodes will be released in August 2023, and will accompany the release of a brand new line of products, based on this fantasy universe. 

The new franchise was unveiled on Wednesday, May 10 at the MK2 Paradiso cinema in Paris, where journalists and influencers were able to discover the first episodes of the series during an immersive event. A session dedicated to the general public was also able to bring together nearly a hundred spectators, who had the opportunity to discover for the first time the Lego DREAMZzz characters and their wonderful stories. 

The event was organized in the presence of Tommy Andreasen, Senior Creative Manager within the Lego Group, who designed this new universe. It was an opportunity to look back at the creative process that lasted over 3 years, which included extensive testing with over 30,000 people worldwide (21,000 children and 9,000 parents) to ensure that Lego DREAMZzz accurately reflects the way their creative imaginations work when they dream.

"This all-new Lego DREAMZzz series presents dreams not only as a fantasy world, but also as a destination for children to discover, visit, be a part of and co-create," says Tommy Andreasen.

Lego DreamZzz, is the Lego Group's first-ever theme inspired by the limitless creativity of children's dreams - and invites all children to bring their wildest dreams to life. The concept of Lego DREAMZzz is that of a portal to the Dream World, a place where creativity is limitless. The World of Dreams is full of floating realms, hybrid creatures, vehicles and gadgets each more surprising than the last. In this world, originality and creativity are superpowers.
