High Tech - Anaïs Libolt appointed Director of Europe Broadcast & Content at Dolby Laboratories

After joining the Dolby France team in 2010, Anaïs Libolt held the position of Head of Home Entertainment France for several years. She is now Director Europe Broadcast & Content: as such, she joins the new team of the Commercial Partnership section of Dolby Europe, currently composed of 6 people and managed by Arkin Kol, Head of Commercial Partnerships for Europe.

This appointment is part of a new organization of the Commercial Partnership section of Dolby Europe. To this end, new pan-European business units have been created to ensure that Dolby can seize all opportunities and convert them quickly. The main objective is to build on a solid structure that meets the needs of business partners in Europe, to foster collaboration and innovation.

In addition to these functions, Anaïs Libolt is also a member of the board of FAVN (Forum AudioVisuel Numérique ) and UHD Partners. Among her many accomplishments during her tenure at Dolby are the following: 
- The first worldwide AC-4 broadcasts since 2015 with France TV
- The first worldwide live sports broadcast in Dolby Atmos with CANAL+ in 2016
- The first 4K VOD service in Dolby Atmos from an operator with Orange in 2016
- The first live HDR Dolby Vision broadcast of the famous tennis tournament in 2017, and more recently, other live sports victories with CANAL+
- Collaboration within the FAVN to define the standards for UHD DTT

Before joining Dolby, she worked for CANAL+, TF1, M6 and Arte. Anaïs LIBOLT has also been an active contributor to the work on loudness (sound levels) within CST, FICAM, HD Forum and CSA, leading to a standard that preceded the EBU/UER one now in force.
