Prime-Video - Citadel : First look images and Premiere date

Series Stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, executive Producers Joe and Anthony Russo (The Russo Brothers) and Executive Producer/Series Showrunner David Weil have revealed February 28 the trailer for Citadel before it will be released beginning march. Following the trailer reveal, all 5 talent have participated in a moderated press conference using questions that were shared by the press before this event.

Citadel is an upcoming American science fiction drama television series created by Josh Appelbaum and Bryan Oh for Amazon Prime Video. Starring Richard Madden as Citadel agent Mason Kane and Priyanka Chopra as Citadel agent Nadia Singh,Amazon explained: "All of the local series are meant to enhance the entire entertainment experience and will be available for the viewer to deep dive into an imagined layered world." The Indian adaptation of the series, starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be directed Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK and produced by Amazon Studios. The Italian series will be co-produced by Amazon Studios and Cattleya (Gomorra), part of ITV Studios. The six-episode first season will premiere on April 28, 2023, with its first two episodes.

Prime Video unveiled February 27 the first images from the new action-spy thriller Citadel, as well as the launch date for the series, which will air exclusively on Prime Video on Friday, April 28, with two adrenaline-packed first episodes, followed by a new episode each Friday until the final installment launches on May 26. 

Synopsis :
Eight years ago, Citadel fell. The independent, international spy agency - charged with keeping everyone safe and secure - was destroyed by agents of Manticore, a powerful syndicate pulling strings in the shadows. With the fall of Citadel, elite agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh had their memories erased as they narrowly escaped. They have been living under new identities ever since, unaware of their past. Until one night, when Mason is found by his former Citadel colleague, Bernard Orlick, who desperately needs his help to stop Manticore from establishing a New World Order. Mason is reunited with his former partner, Nadia, and the two spies embark on a mission that takes them around the world in an effort to stop Manticore.
