Short - The Right words : eligible for the best short film of fiction Cesar 2023

Punchline Cinema is proud to announce that its short film Haut les cœurs is eligible for the César Awards in the "Best Fiction Short Film" category, which will take place on February 24, 2023.

1st round of voting: from January 2 to 24, 2023
2nd round of voting: from February 2 to 24, 2023

The film is one of the 15 films shortlisted for the 2023 Oscar for Best Short Fiction, which will take place on March 12. Members of the short film and feature film sections, directors, actors, producers, writers and technicians vote to determine the list of finalists and nominees.

Adrian Moyse Dullin was born in Lyon. He graduated in philosophy, modern literature and Sciences Po Grenoble. The Right words is his first work of fiction. He is currently writing a feature film about the feeling of love.

Synopsis: 
Kenza, fifteen years old, and her little brother Mahdi, thirteen years old, regularly stage themselves on social networks in an escalation of small cruelties and humiliations. Today, during a bus ride, Kenza puts her naive and romantic little brother to the test: make a declaration of love to Jada, a girl Mahdi loves but doesn't know. Put under pressure by his sister, Mahdi finally goes.
