Starting December 7, eight new tracks are coming to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe this holiday season with the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Additional Track Pass DLC for Nintendo Switch. This wave 3 includes the bucolic fields of Peach Garden, a track originally released on Nintendo DS, as well as the frosty joys of Festive Mountain, a track from the Mario Kart Tour, with seasonal scenery and music... a track made of icy peaks and majestic fir trees! You'll also be able to discover the sights of Mario Kart Tour's Detour to London and the galactic twists and turns of Nintendo 3DS's Rainbow Road, among others. Wave 3 includes the Stone and Moon Cups, which are made up of timeless tracks that have appeared in Mario Kart games for Wii, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS and other systems. Each track can be enjoyed in local or online mode.** The tracks are divided as follows:
- Pierre Cup
o London Detour - Leave your opponents in awe as you skid around historic landmarks and reach the top of the podium in this London-inspired track, originally released in Mario Kart Tour.
o Boo Lake - Get your feet wet on the spooky asphalt of this Boo-filled track, located on the shores of a haunted lake. Originally featured in Mario Kart: Super Circuit.
o Screech Mountain - This track from Mario Kart 7 features tight turns at high altitudes and bouncing rocks!
o Vermeil Woods - Leap through the fallen leaves on this fall track from Mario Kart Wii and race through huge trees.
- Moon Cup
o Berlin Stroll - Watch out for Whomps and Thwomps that threaten to fall on you, and enjoy the beautiful views on this Mario Kart Tour track.
o Peach Garden - Chirping birds, chewing Chomps, and shimmering fields of flowers... The huge gardens of Peach Castle, originally featured in Mario Kart DS, await you.
o Festive Mountain - Tackle the winding mountain roads and track through the snowy hills of this charming winter circuit from Mario Kart Tour, filled with giant candy canes and other wrapped gifts.
o Rainbow Road - The Rainbow Road twists and turns around small planets and celestial bodies to create a cosmic track from Mario Kart 7 for Nintendo 3DS.
Wave 3 joins Wave 1 and Wave 2, representing half of the Additional Circuits Pass. Another 24 tracks will be added as they are released next year. The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Add-On Track Pass is a one-time purchase and consists of six separate waves of eight tracks, all available by the end of 2023.

Wave 3 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Add-On Track Pass is available on Nintendo Switch on December 7. Take a nostalgic trip through the Mario Kart saga and head to the finish line of the 48 additional tracks. Eight tracks will be offered for each of the six waves by the end of 2023.
Circuit Waves cannot be purchased individually. A copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch is required to use the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Additional Track Pass content. A software update is required. A broadband Internet connection is required to download software updates.
