Jack Ryan is on a mission to prevent a global catastrophe, in the official trailer for the third season of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan series. The eight new episodes of the action series, starring John Krasinski, will air on Wednesday 21 December, exclusively on Prime Video.

Today, Prime Video unveils the trailer and poster for the third season of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan. John Krasinski returns in the title role. Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly reprise their roles as CIA agent James Greer and former CIA agent Mike November respectively. Nina Hoss, as Czech President Alena Kovac, and Betty Gabriel, as Elizabeth Wright, head of the CIA office in Rome, join the cast this season. As previously announced, this third season will return in eight episodes on Wednesday 21 December, exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan is an American political action thriller television series based on the characters of the fictional Ryanverse created by Tom Clancy, which premiered on August 31, 2018 on Amazon Prime Video. The series was created by Carlton Cuse and Graham Roland. Cuse serves as executive producer alongside John Krasinski, Michael Bay and Mace Neufeld, among others. Krasinski also stars in the series as the title character, making him the fifth actor to portray the character after Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck and Chris Pine from the film series. In April 2018, Amazon renewed the series for a second season, which premiered on 31 October 2019. In February 2019, Amazon renewed the series for a third season, which premiered on 21 December 2022. Ahead of the third season, Amazon renewed the series for a fourth season. In May 2022, prior to the release of the third season, it was confirmed that the series would end after four seasons, possibly aiming for a date in 2023. A spin-off with Michael Peña as Ding Chavez is in development.

Jack Ryan learns of a Russian plan to recreate the Soviet Union, involving a stealth 3 megaton nuclear weapon. While Jack's covert mission to get a critical asset is successful, the victory is short-lived as the first step of the 7-day plan to reclaim the Soviet Union is carried out. With the United States government wary of interfering, much to the objection of James Greer, Jack is left out on his own to stop this global threat.

302 - Old Haunts (Jann Turner; Amy Berg)
Jack, out in the cold and on the run after the fallout from his failed operation in Greece, must evade authorities both foreign and domestic before receiving help from an old friend.

303 - Running With Wolves (Jann Turner; Jennifer Kennedy)
Jack travels to Vienna to track down the source of his original intelligence on Sokol. Greer advises Alena on a key NATO deal. Petr Kovac, Alena's father, hosts a hunt in the Czech woods.

304 - Our Death's Keeper (Jann Turner; Dario Scardapane)
In Budapest, Jack and Mike plan a sting on a slippery arms dealer to ascertain the whereabouts of the Sokol nuclear device, as Greer discovers some intriguing and potentially incriminating information on Petr Kovac.

305 - Druz'ya i Vragi (Kevin Dowling; Marc Halsey & Amy Berg)
Jack and Mike head to a mysterious, abandoned outpost in Russia to seize the Sokol nuclear device, but an unexpected visitor foils their plans. Meanwhile, Petr seeks to rescue Alena, who has been kidnapped by her own head of security.

306 - Ghosts (Kevin Dowling & David Petrarca; Amy Berg)
Jack races to stop the detonation of the Sokol nuclear device, which has traveled to the Czech Republic. Petr and Luka's secret histories come to the surface in a deadly reckoning.

In Moscow, Jack teams with Luka to expose the high-ranking cabal members within the government who are now orchestrating the secret Sokol plan.

Synopsis:
In this new, third season, Jack Ryan is working as a CIA agent in Rome when he learns that the Sokol Project, a secret plan to restore the Soviet empire, is being revived more than 50 years after it was abandoned. Jack goes on a mission to verify the information, but things go wrong and he finds himself wrongly implicated in an even bigger conspiracy. Accused of treason and the subject of a Red Alert that could lead to his arrest, Jack is forced to flee his own government. Criss-crossing Europe, hunted by old allies and new enemies, Jack races against time to prevent a global catastrophe.
