Festivals - GĂ©rardmer 2023 : The feature film jury

By Mulder, 13 december 2022

Around our two chief artists, Bérénice Béjo and Michel Hazanavicius, a prodigious jury, as much for its abundance as for its excellence, will officiate for the 30th anniversary of Gérardmer, the age of madness and imagination in power!

With Alex Lutz, for whom originality rhymes with side-stepping and offbeat wit

With Anne Le Ny, it's the combination of joy and intelligence in acting, the greed for the embodiment of emotions, from gentle madness to the strangest anxiety

With Catherine Ringer who brought charm and mystery as well as cheekiness and fantasy to French rock

With Eye Haïdara, who has something in common with Catherine Ringer in having crossed paths with Jean-Luc Godard's cinema, and who illuminates the young French cinema with her versatile acting talent

With Gringe, a figure of the rap scene, Orelsan's companion as a fabulous loser in Comment c'est loin, who is gradually imposing his look on the screen, with Olivier Marchal (Carbone), Vincent Maël Cardona (the series De Grâce, soon to be broadcast on Arte) or Sébastien Marnier (L'Heure de la sortie), a director who will also be present as an aficionado, unconditional and a perpetuator of a genre that is in the process of being renewed and is still looking for The Origin of Evil;

With Pierre Deladonchamps, who has established himself as one of the greatest French actors today, also in love with the fantastic and his native Grand Est, who says of his profession that it is bizarre and that you have to be crazy to practice it, a 100% Gérardmer spirit...

With Finnegan Oldfield too, who from Clément Cogitore, through Bertrand Bonello to Michel Hazanavicius, has lent his all-round acting ability with a mad talent to the incursions of the greatest French authors on the edge of the fantastic

With Pierre Rochefort, musician and actor who navigated the murky waters of the strange with Fabrice Gobert in the series Les Revenants and the mini-series Disparition inquiétante.
