By Mulder, 19 december 2022

Warner Bros Discovery Global Themed Entertainment, in partnership with Imagine Exhibitions and EMC Presents, announces that Harry Potter: The Exhibition, the world's largest immersive exhibition about the wizarding world, is coming to Paris in 2023 to continue its world tour in Europe. The exhibition will open in spring 2023 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition opened its doors this Friday, December 16 at the METAStadt in Vienna (Austria) to thousands of excited fans for this European premiere. After Paris, it will continue its world tour in Latin America, Asia and in other European and North American cities.  The world premiere of Harry Potter: The Exhibition took place this past February at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where it attracted more than half a million fans, making it one of the most visited exhibitions in the museum's history.

The exhibition is a behind-the-scenes look at the Wizarding World, using the latest in immersive technology. It features the films and stories of Harry Potter and the Fantastic Beasts, as well as works from the same universe such as Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The exhibition pays tribute to the mythical scenes, characters, settings and creatures born from the imagination of J.K. Rowling and discovered in the films and other variations of the Harry Potter universe. Visitors will be able to see real props and costumes from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films and immerse themselves in innovative, breathtaking, fairy-tale worlds and devices unlike anything they've ever seen in an exhibition!

Harry Potter: The Exhibition is the first experience devoted entirely to the Wizarding World, to the delight of its early and later fans.  "I am sincerely excited to be able to present Harry Potter: The Exhibition in Paris, a place where Parisians and tourists alike will be able to enjoy this never-before-seen experience," said Tom Zaller, CEO of Imagine Exhibitions.  Michael Cohl, CEO of EMC Presents, added: "At EMC, we are thrilled to be part of this extraordinary immersive exhibition and look forward to bringing the exhibition to new visitors around the world.

Over 3,000 square meters, visitors will be able to see up close authentic props and original costumes from some of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, as well as the Wizarding World expansion, including Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. They will also have the opportunity to experience innovative, impressive and magical environments and installations in more than 20 rooms in a way never before seen in a traveling exhibition. Harry Potter: The Exhibition was created and developed by Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment in partnership with Imagine Exhibitions and in association with EMC Presents. Another highlight is the 400-square-meter gift store, which features officially licensed products inspired by the Wizarding World, including exclusive, custom-made merchandise not available in any other Wizarding World experience. The gift store can also be visited without a show ticket during regular business hours, which is perfect if you're still looking for Christmas gifts.
