Festivals - The Deauville American Film Festival 2022 : Discover the official selection

By Mulder, 18 august 2022

"The Deauville American Film Festival, with more than fifty films from the United States, remains the most important festival in Europe dedicated to this legendary and promising cinematography that is the future of filming. This selection of films is an artistic movement that affirms an idea of cinema, what it is, what it is not, if it is useful and if it should be. These questions are resolved in the eyes of the spectators crossing those of the creators. Our commitment is in this sense: to open a path towards an art that goes beyond us and whose daily quest is to rise to the level of the films without lowering the works. - Bruno Barde, festival director
