The surf-lifestyle brand launches an exclusive collaboration with the second most popular series in Netflix history Iconic surf-lifestyle brand Quiksilver is excited to announce its collaboration with the Netflix original series Stranger Things for its fourth season. The series will be released in two parts, with Part 1 airing on May 27 and Part 2 on July 1. Quiksilver will release several capsule collections, inspired by the 80's and the surfing spirit of the brand, while incorporating elements of the Stranger Things 4 storyline.

For the past three years, Quiksilver and the Netflix costume team have worked closely together. They delved into the Quiksilver archives, bringing the brand's most iconic pieces to life through this collaboration. They created pieces for the characters of Stranger Things, which will be available for purchase by consumers for the first time. The official Quiksilver x Stranger Things 4 collections will include exclusive Quiksilver pieces inspired by the Quiksilver archive from the 1980s and merchandise worn by the cast throughout the series.

"Working closely with the costume designers on Stranger Things has been a unique and special collaborative journey," says Andrew Henry, product manager at Quiksilver. "We were able to revive classic styles from the 1986 and 1987 Quik archives to align with Stranger Things 4, creating specific clothing for the cast and consumers. We're thrilled to tell the Quiksilver story through this season of Stranger Things and reach a new audience through the lens of a series they know and love."

"Quiksilver was an integral part of California fashion in the 1980s," says Stranger Things costume designer Amy Parris, "The show is so true to that time period, it made sense to infuse Quiksilver archival pieces this season. I hope the clothes will resonate with a younger audience, who are inspired by the fashion of the era, and bring back fond memories for viewers who followed fashion in the 80s."

Quiksilver will release several capsule collections starting May 20, inspired by the brand's '80s and surfing spirit, while incorporating elements from the Stranger Things 4 storyline. The first element of this new collaboration is Strange Surfing Movie, the trailer of the collaboration between Quiksilver and the Netflix series Stranger Things. This 8-minute video tells the story of how a road trip in search of waves took a strange turn, turning the lives of these 5 friends upside down. Quiksilver athletes Kanoa Igarashi, Andy Nieblas and Mikey Right are caught on camera in this intriguing trailer.

To celebrate the launch of the collaboration, a Quiksilver pop-up store will open its doors to the public on May 20th, 44 rue du Temple, Paris 4th. The clothing collections will be available for purchase worldwide on quiksilver.com.
