Moon Knight Returns to the Marvel Select Line Thanks to ShopDisney.com!

Moon Knight is an American television miniseries created by Jeremy Slater for the Disney+ streaming service, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is intended to be the sixth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios, sharing continuity with the films in the franchise. Slater is the head writer and Mohamed Diab leads the directing team. The first images of Moon Knight, the Marvel Studios live-action series starring Oscar Isaac in the lead role, have finally been revealed.

With the Moon Knight TV show making its debut on Disney+, Marvel Select has decided to revisit a long-lost figure in the Marvel Select line. Their Moon Knight figure has not been offered in over a decade, but now he will make his triumphant return to shelves thanks to ShopDisney.com

Standing approximately 7 inches tall and featuring approximately 16 points of articulation, this exclusive release of Moon Knight comes with a diorama base featuring the doorway to the temple of the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. He also comes with two moon-shaped throwing knives, and comes packaged in the Select action figure packaging with side-panel artwork.  Moon Knight joins a selection of Marvel Select figures exclusive to ShopDisney.com, including Hawkeye, Loki, Taskmaster, the Winter Soldier and No Way Home Spider-Man.

Oscar Isaac plays Marc Spector / Moon Knight, with Ethan Hawke also in the lead role. The series has been announced for August 2019. Mohamed Diab has been hired to direct four episodes of the series in October 2020, with director duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead joining the series in January 2021 to direct the remaining two.

Filming began in late April in Hungary with Mohamed Diab and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead as directors and Gregory Middleton as director of photography. The series is being shot under the working title Good Faith and was previously scheduled to begin shooting on November 16, 2020, for a 26-week run before being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Filming took place at the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts in April and in Szentendre in early May. At the beginning of June, outdoor night scenes were shot on Madách Square in Budapest. [Shooting took place for a week in Wadi Rum, Jordan, and ended in Budapest and Jordan in early October, at which time the series moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to complete production, which ended on October 14 and additional shooting in mid-November.

The first episode of Moon Knight is available since today and this mini-series will include six episodes.
