Fresh is a 2022 American comedy thriller film directed by Mimi Cave, in her directorial debut, from a screenplay by Lauryn Kahn. It stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan. The film is a co-production between Legendary Pictures and Hyperobject Industries; Adam McKay produced the film alongside Kevin J. Messick and Maeve Cullinane. Fresh premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 20, 2022, and is scheduled to be released on March 4, 2022, on Hulu (United States) and Disney+ (Star) (France) by Searchlight Pictures. 

The film Fresh - a revelation at the last Sundance Film Festival - will be released on March 4. Searchlight Pictures has acquired the international rights from Legendary Entertainment. Directed by Mimi Cave, who signs her first feature film, and written by Lauryn Kahn (Ibiza), this provocative thriller features Daisy Edgar-Jones (the series Normal People) and Sebastian Stan (the series Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Pam & Tommy) surrounded by Jojo T. Gibbs (the series Twenties), Charlotte Le Bon (Yves Saint Laurent), Andrea Bang (Luce) and Dayo Okeniyi (the Hunger Games saga, Terminator Genisys).

In July 2020, it was announced Mimi Cave would direct the film from a screenplay by Lauryn Kahn, with Adam McKay set to serve as a producer under his Hyperobject Industries banner, with Legendary Pictures set to produce. In September 2020, Daisy Edgar-Jones joined the cast of the film. Sebastian Stan was cast in October 2020, and Jonica T. Gibbs was cast in December. Principal photography took place from February 3 to March 17, 2021, in British Columbia, Canada.

Synopsis : 
Noa meets Steve in a grocery store. Chilled by dating apps, she agrees on a whim to give him her number. After a first meeting, she falls under the spell of this very attractive man and agrees to go with him in love for a weekend. It's not long before she discovers that her new lover has an insatiable appetite... and a very unusual one!
